How to remove unused AirPods from AppleWatch AirPlay menu?

This has been driving me nuts. When I tried AirPods at the Apple Store before buying my own pair, the store's AirPods remained in my AppleWatch's AirPlay menu.

I've long since removed them from my iPhone's Bluetooth pairing menu but they stay in my AppleWatch.

How do I remove them?

On the watch, click on the settings app, then Bluetooth, then select the I button next to whichever pair you want to remove and select forget device
