wow you guys a little rough on the kid... I like to take care of my things too but you were a little on the extreme. I didnt want to create a new thread but had a relating questions regarding the Invisishield...is there any heat issues and does the comfort of the laptop degrade with like for example the touchpad swipes?

Peronsally I just take care of my gadgets, I don't have a case for my MBP or my iPhone. I just don't get how people tear up stuff so easy. Aside from the fact Apple makes great looking products and then people put plastic ugly ass cases on them... huh?

Really people, get a grip. These things are gorgeous-looking tools(!). They are not your first-born or anything like that. Just use them, and use them well. Don't worry so much.

You have the speck case, now get one of those rubber keyboard covers, the suede screen protector, a palm rest protector, a trackpad protector, and use white cotton gloves when handling it.

If all else, you can wrap it in the plastic you probably have your sofa wrapped in.

I love some of this snarkiness. I've heard that the iSkin is crappy and read reviews on Apple.com and Amazon. I'm going to get the Moshi keyboard protector. Thanks everyone!

I received mine a couple of weeks ago and don't baby it nearly as much as I thought I would. I even sit it down within reach of my 4 year old but she she's been great and not touching it!
