You say that as if it isn't the same with every Apple event. The only difference is this time Europe is getting it in the middle of the night, not Australia. It is, even this time, ALWAYS the next day when we are seeing the event min Australia. Normally around 2-3am. We live in the future.

Some comments seem to forget that people in Asia (and Australia) have been watching the event late at night with no complaints haha I hope they don't think there is an universal time slot where no country is in the middle of the night.

Don't forget AEST for people living in the future but slightly in the past compared to our NSW cousins.

Number of Live viewers will plunge into bottom.

Would think the combined populations of China, Japan, India, Indonesia, etc would help things.

A glorious day. Not in the middle of the night for Australia. Hopefully the first of many.

Will be watching it on Apple website. Not very convenient time though.

I’m still trying to decide if this is an event worth having a bad night’s sleep. The event starts at my midnight and as I am ordering a new 16” straight away, I am still trying to decide if I go to bed earlier and wake up earlier to catch up in the morning or if I just stay awake to watch it.
It’s like being a kid at Christmas Eve all over again!

Spoiler: iMac and possibly more machines updated to M3 chips. M3 Pro and M3 Max in MBP. All machines feature a marginal increase in power and still too few ports.

There. Now you don't need to watch the stream.

The event is still not showing up on my iOS TV app… do you guys see it there?

Using search only shows past events such as the iPhone September 2023 event…

Apple is hosting an online streaming event for the public and press on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The company is expected to announce new Macs, and potentially other products during the event, dubbed "Scary Fast." Here's how you can watch it and when, depending where you are in the world.

Hey Tim, if you want to add the time when it streams in Madrid, Spain: 01:00 AM local time, same as Paris and Berlin.

By the way, do you know if the stream has already a page/placeholder on the TV app? I’d like to watch it there but I don’t see anything but past events… thank you.

Good luck competing with Monday Night Football and the World Series. which will be lower, viewership on Apple TV+ or “the event”. Middle of the night in Europe and the start of the work day in China. Clearly an Alaska/Hawaii event 🏔️🗿

Is there a spoiler-free thread for this event? I'm in the UK so am going to watch it in the morning, would be keen to avoid any spoilers before I can view the video.

So, if it is all about wicked fast why do all the later ads just use the word thrilling and not wicked fast?

Also, if this is last announcement before the holidays is there something unexpected that will be the “it” gift for the holidays?
If this is a M3 product announcement then it has nothing to do with the M3 but rather an excuse for M2 Black Friday Sales.

Apple does not want to tarnish its reputation by dropping prices and having sales events for slumping sales of recently released M2 hardware.

I've watched all of them because of the convenient timing here in West Europe, sadly it's
in the middle of night now, but more or less prime time for the U.S.

You are forgetting Apples target audience.

Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird that they are going to release M3 devices before the Apple Vision Pro releases?

Hey everybody! Want to buy this $3500 usd device running last years hardware?

I realize there’s a metric tonne of tech in it and it’s totally a niche device for now…. But it just feels wrong to try and push a whole new product category at such a high price without the illusion of premium. I mean you can’t even pre-order it yet.
