How will the 6S differentiate itself?

I know it's early, but just curious as to what others think about the topic

- iPhone 4S got a new color, white.
- iPhone 5S got new color, gold. Touch ID with no square in the home button. Also got a new pill flash and slightly different looking camera

Do you think we'll maybe get a new color or something? I feel like it has to look just a little different from the previous model if they want more people to buy it.

As in the past the improvements will be slight but enough that they will sell many!

Those hoping for more RAM will not be happy as it will be the iPhone 7 or 8 before they add RAM.

Just to nit pick, the iPhone 4 had white as a colour too. Although it didn't come till much later after launch.

Sapphire glass and waterproof is my guess, and of course the usually slightly faster and better camera.

No, there is an iPhone 4 in white. It was released in February 2011.
The only difference to iPhone 4s is a fourth antenna band located above the mute switch and on the opposite side, whereas the iPhone 4 had only one between headphone jack and power button.

Not necessarily. The 3G/3GS and 4/4S looked exactly the same (other than minor modifications) and they still sold an assload of the newer model.

I would like to see a waterproof iPhone. I think we will also mainly see internal improvements like the A9 processor and maybe a slightly improved camera.

Probably some unique feature to work with Apple Watch. And doubt the camera bump will go away. Camera sensor/lens technology isn't improving that much now.

Lets hope for stronger and a tiny bit thicker so they can fit the WHOLE camera in the case!

Hard to believe they let the lens sit out like that, maybe for a purpose but I do not think so.

Depends on what you get for the trade off. Additionally, the small reduction in structural strength of the 6 series hasn't been a major issue so what's the point of fueling that fire?
