How's your battery life on PB Sonoma?

Sonoma Public Beta is running smoothly and issue free for me, but I feel like maaaaybe the battery life took a hit on my M1 Pro MacBook Pro 16". I could be wrong, it could be just that I'm paying more attention to it.

So, how is your battery life?

Battery life is a little worse, but that's to be expected with a beta. Most beta versions of an OS (whether Mac OS, Windows, or even Linux distros) have some additional components for telemetry, bug reporting, etc. which are useful during beta testing stages for the OS in question.

Using one of the new cityscape backgrounds absolutely kills the battery, and cranks the fans up
