This is what happens when you have a company that’s still trying to push the envelope. Not one that’s laser focused on removing as much as possible from the 1000 dollar box you just bought

I have written down here several times, foldable phones are the imminent future and we will se a foldable iPhone sooner or later, no matter what most of MR readers think.

There is a foldable iPhone in our future, PERIOD.

Whose making the big money? The company that's removing as much as possible or the company selling unaffordable/overpriced tech? When generalization can be applied to the hundreds of millions of customers buying said company's products?

I DO want a foldable iPhone! It would be awesome!

Just imagine to have a big massive screen in a such compact device that fit in the palm of your hand. Would be simply great!

I want it NOW!
folding iPhone with type c with an sd slot for expandable storage would easily be a $2500 phone and I would be extremely tempted ...but yes I'm on an iPhone x waiting for a fold

Rollable smartphones are the way to go
I think it would fit better to Apple devices
Dont get me wrong, Z Fold for example or Z Flip are pretty sleek foldable phones but it doesnt sound as Apple compliant
Rollable phones have wow effect when the screen is stretching

Imagine that gets accidentally triggered in your pants while having a conversation with someone. Probably not work safe.

How do they protect against ingress of very small particles at the edge where the display rolls into the backside of the phone? Looks nice. Hope they develop flexible gorill glass

According to the writeup there is some newer technology that minimizes the crease and screen damage.

Maybe this is why Apple has been exploring hoping on the foldable bandwagon.

the crease is definitely there, clearly visible in the presentation
