The one that Hubbell had in their catalog, since deleted, looked exactly like this, except it had 4 USB-C ports with the rounded corner holes. I thought SCORE!!! But they apparently never made a single one of them. Sad... But wouldn't that be awesome! 4 USB-C ports, all, supposedly, with 'Power Delivery'. Wow...

That is the actual one that I used. Leviton had announced theirs, but the distributor, and Leviton, didn't have any. This Hubbell one was at least available.

I have the Leviton T5635 that has two USB-C ports - works great. However, only drawback, you can charge with 30W only if one of the two cables is plugged in. I have them around the kitchen bar for the kids to do homework.

Cascading power arrangements are generally discouraged, if not a no-no.

Extension cords shouldn't branch from another extension cord or multi-tap. A power strip shouldn't be plugged into a UPS, etc. Most people don't know what Ohm's Law is, and tacitly encouraging the "LEGO-ing" of these adapters is really kind of irresponsible in a way.

If these things manage to make it to production, I doubt they'll carry safety marks from the organizations that are reputable, and relevant (unlike many of them plastered on cheap electronics) like UL.

While a definitive conclusion isn't possible, the MV Conception accident is strongly suspected of being the result of unsafe, haphazard charging provisions, and with sad consequences.
Agreed,

As someone that works in Datacenters, the topic of daisy-chained power connections in customer racks seems like a constant paradox I live in. They look at total KW available and want to plug more stuff in, yet we can’t allow them to for reasons you touched on above.

I had a really poor experience with their 100w GaN charger. I was an early backer, and took them 6 months to deliver it to Europe. The charger had many issues described above, iPad won’t charge, watch and iPhone never got to 100%. I contacted them and my issues were never resolve, tickets suddenly were closed. The amount of complains on their Kickstarter campaign was crazy. I would never again purchase anything from these people.

Can't people be wiser before throwing their hard earn money to a company with series of bad history?
Most of their products are OEM, and the only single product (the infamous 100w GaN charger!) they designed themselves failed miserably

I just experienced a really absurd thing yesterday. I have asked for a refund back in April for their charger i backed, because of the design flaw the charging of type c port keeps jumping on and off with type a port occupied which will eventually screw up my devices. (i hope this new device from them wont do the same!) Hyper finally refunded to me for this defect product they sent me after a long(nearly 6 months!), energy draining torture. Not because they feel sorry for selling poor quality product to me and made me go through this prplonged nightmare but to shut me up from commenting in their campaign page.
