If jail breaking becomes impossible, and Apple has not incorporated a Lock Info -like lock screen that is customizable and contains weather and appointments on the Lock Screen... then I will be forced to leave iOS behind. I need a today screen that is easily accessible with ALL my info in one place. I absolutely HATE having to go into each separate app to see information. It's time consuming and I find on my 4s right now, I just don't use it as much. It's basically just a phone and messaging device now... not using it to the full potential as a PIM device. Notification centre sucks... it only shows appointments for today and tomorrow (no options to set more days etc), and notification centre isn't even accessible from the lock screen at all anyway. The notifications that show up on the lock screen disappear as soon as you unlock and calendar and weather won't show on the lock screen even if you select 'show on lock screen' in settings! :(

The ONE app that if someone develops, that might keep me in iOS without jail breaking: Right now there are apps that basically add weather and tasks etc to a wallpaper program that you can then activate from your camera roll to show on your lock screen. The current apps that do this require manual input of the appointments without taking them from your actual calendar, and selecting the wallpaper is also done manually. A lot of work if you ask me. In iOS5 apps are starting to show up that can change your wallpaper automatically... even cycle through wallpapers changing them on a set interval.... automatically! As I understand it, the API also currently exists that an app can draw info from the calendar and tasks etc. (possibly mail etc too) If someone can make an app that AUTOMATICALLY draws my calendar info, weather, tasks, etc even new mail, sms etc on a set interval (like maybe every 15 mins) and then set that as the lock screen wallpaper automatically based on my settings within the app itself for who the info will be displayed... it might be a way around needing Lock Info. ... notice I say MIGHT....
