I am enjoying my X except for...

You quickly get used to the notch and it becomes a non-issue. And the sensors it houses and the things they can do are hands-down amazing. If they needed a notch to get those in there, I'm all for it.
 
Kiwi Bank New Zealand app has been updated for iPhone X including face ID.. Debit & Credit finance app has been updated too. Both utilise the whole screen. All apps that had fingerprint access have changed to face ID.
Free games remain letter boxed. The rest about 50/50.
Happy that so many have been updated for one iPhone X 🙂

The notch tells everyone it's an iPhone X.. instant ID.

Agreed. The notch doesn't affect me one way or the other, is it different? Yes. But given that the technology that I find absolutely amazing with the TrueDepth Camera and sensors embedded underneath the Notch, I can easily look past it because of its capabilities.
 
Funny, my 7+ feels like an iPad mini after a couple of weeks with the X. I don't miss it at all- I have an iPad Pro for the times that form factor is needed.

I'm glad they took their time updating Gmail. Made me go looking for a replacement which led me to my current mail app that is 100x better (don't recall the name as it just has "Email" as the label).
