All I do is browse the web with my iPad 2 and it's why I will upgrade. Pics look terrible on the current version and many site with a lot of pics crash my iPad.

Use my MBP more than my iPad
I had the iPad 2 and I liked it, but I just didn't use it very much. I had the 64 GB 3G model and recently sold it on EBAY. I use my 15" MacBook Pro more than the iPad.

I've seen these types of threads appear on MacRumors at every new product launch since the initial iPhone release back in 2007. If you're not going to buy it, great, don't buy it (no one cares). Why don't you also tell us whether you passed a bowel movement today...
I'm waiting for the 16GB iPad 2 to hit the refurbish store.... $369CDN is solid price and iPad 2 is solid enough for what I'd do with it. I'm sure that retina display would be great but my old iPad 2 screen was pretty great too and I'm wanting a new iMac when they're released. I know if I buy the new iPad I'll talk myself into a 32GB lite model and next thing yea know it's pushing $1000CDN after case and taxes.
Well, if you have the iPad 2 you may not really see the need to upgrade. You're better off waiting until next year.
I'm upgrading from an iPad 1, so I do have the need to upgrade, as I keep running out of RAM, even tho with iOS 5.1 I have noticed that there seems to be better memory management, and the apps I use that under iOS 5.0.1 ran slow or crashed due to low memory are much more stable now. Maybe iOS 5.1 is using some kind of Virtual Memory.
I don't think you have experienced these problems with the iPad 2.
Man, what's the point of these threads? I'm not trying to be mean, but it seems like a lot of folks here are just trying to make themselves feel better for not upgrading. It's like the opposite of justifying a purchase. You're trying to justify why you don't need one, which kind of makes it seem like you'd buy one if you could

I am in your same boat and not sure if youve checked but they already hit the refurb store, snatched one for $349
I am saving all the money I can for the upcoming iMac this 2 will hold me off for now, plus its lighter and thinner soa side from the screen that's a plus IMO
