Yes the MaH readings does fluctuate, which is normal. But only at 10 Cycles and your down that low?

Yeah, but now it seems stable at 2800. I honestly don't think iBackupBot is very accurate, especially because the 6 Plus' actual design capacity is 2915 mAh, not 2855 mAh.

Guys, don't fall for the tricks people are doing here. Check out my usage :

Crazy yeah !??!

Well .. I left my phone on airplane mode and took another phone because I was going on a rugged trip which might damage the phone. I came back and used it for a bit until it dropped to 74%. I could have used it for maybe 12+ hours then say I had more than two days usage, but I had work and needed to sleep and charge the phone.

Anyway, my point is that your phone can last 2 days on complete standby, then get around 8-12 hours of usage and post a picture here. Don't fall for pics stating that they is continuous all day on 4G/LTE with 50%+ brightness and continuous gaming, videos, background activity and location services. From my stats you would have those that I was vining and playing games the whole 2 hrs and 30 mins of usage.

This whole results thing here doesn't mean jack. You must compare a phone that has the same exact options turned on along with usage for a proper test. Some people just whatsapp for 2 total hours during the day and do nothing else, then post a picture saying that have 2 days usage.

+1

also, the two biggest battery hogs are your display (thus brightness) and an errant app that is constantly pulling data.

and, verizon phones usually have 10-15% ******** battery life over 4g.

There is definitely something wrong. You should do a hard reset (holding power and home button until you see the apple logo again).
Usage and standby time shouldn't be the same, except you're using the phone ALL the time.

Nope, completely normal in my case. I use it extensively for work, and I have a fitness app that tracks my activity constantly.

I've been getting about 10 hours of use on my iPhone 6 Plus. Seems to consistently be about a 10% battery drain if I use it for an hour straight. Mostly use with apps that use LTE data and brightness at 25-30%. Hardly ever use wifi on my phone.

I am very displeased with the battery life on my 6+. Is mine defective?

your usage/standby times shouldn't be exactly the same, if you use it "extensively" for that long your phone would have died.

Like I said before, I have an app running in the back ground 24/7.

Here's today's battery usage so far.

miss manson is right.

another reason why apple needs to introduce a standardized method of measuring battery life. Usage tells us nothing, and missmanson's screenshots demonstrate that.

We need screen on time.

As the usage shows, I use my iPhone 6 Plus primarily for e-mail and not much else. I leave WiFi and Cellular LTE on continuously, and am very pleased to see that I can get 4 days on a battery charge if need be.

Here's mine on average use.

On heavy and continuous use, i get just over 15-18 hours standby and 8-11 hrs usage.

Could be better. My last cycle was at 13 hours and a half usage with about 36 hours standby with pretty much same usage unless Google Maps really does suck up battery... First time using it and I feel Apple Maps uses far less battery than Google.
