no. that's normal.

my 6 gets 10 hours standby (with 8 hours usage).

people here will say otherwise because they simply don't use their phone. (note the number of people who have "home and lock screen" as the most battery usage item)

As you can see this is fairly shoddy battery life compared to what other people on here have been getting.

And before anyone says, I've done every battery optimization in the book. Notifications only for important apps, background refresh is turned completely off, location services are on for only navigation apps and tinder and the like, auto brightness is on, mail is set to fetch hourly for my gmail accounts and MANUAL for my iCloud account. And I know here it says I use tinder the most but I mostly just check it a few times throughout the day.

It's more of a "what you use it for" than HOW MUCH you use it. Some apps are HUGE battery hogs. Try shutting down the apps one at a time and see if which one the culprit is. Might be Tinder, might be Alien Blue, might be Yik Yak. Double click the home button and swipe up on them one at a time and see if that makes a difference throughout the day, if you can go without the app for a few hours.

under (Settings > General > Background App Refresh), turn off the ones you don't want hogging up background battery.

Also, see what you have using Location Services (Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services). Those hog up battery and you don't need many. Location based ads, diagnostics etc.

Your usage doesn't seem too bad. I have the 6 and I get around 8-9+ hours till it hits 10%, but I get about a day and a half to 2 days stand by. Your standby looks pretty bad. There seems to be an app (or apps) excessively using your battery in the background.

Are you talking about my battery life? I should disable location services and do some other stuff...

So this id bad yeah? Did the OP take it to an Apple Store to see what they said?

Apple store genius said that my battery was fine. I explained everything to him even showing him the results of that test saying my max battery capacity was only 2800 but he said it didnt matter. Nothing I can do at this point. Maybe I should bend mine on purpose so they replace it

So you are going to bend it on purpose just so that you can make excuses so that apple can replace it? I smell a fraud here.

He's being sarcastic.

Thanks OP, my battery seemed fine before the update. How has yours behaved since then? Still bad?

Still crap, it dropped 13% after 30 minutes of wifi browsing with 4 bars of LTE. Just restored to factory defaults and I'm going to not install any apps to see how it goes.

Oh please let me know how it goes! I am considering doing this, but is too much hassle if is not even going to fix it.

Hey guys...look at this heavy usage with low signal and intense games. What do you guys think?

I'm getting around 13 hours of usage time on my iP6+. Got all the battery saving tips in place and auto screen brightness at 40% or less. Delightful to say the least.

Seriously how hard is it to just spend a few days monitoring the Usage screen and turning off background refresh for those apps near the top of the list?

For me it was facebook and twitter - problem solved and the apps behave no differently.
