I like that the silicone case shows the edge of the stainless steel band straight on
Looks classy and constantly a reminder of the flat design

Lol no problem! I was like, “White?” 🤣😂Sorry! I meant to ask the person who said they usually bought a white one each year, but thanks so much for the extra info.
-Tackiness is the same, it just takes time to wear into it
I buy the white case every year and love it this year, but I do want another in leather
the same as other years.. which isn't too much.So your white case does collect lint?
I think the lint is color depending. I had the green & plum and it was lint central, unfortunatelyMine isn't. The last silicone case I had was a smart battery cover. That thing was a pain. These new ones have none of those issues. No stickiness, no lint attracting, easy to get in and out of pocket. It works really, really well. I was anticipating a month break-in for those issues, but pleasantly surprised!
Is it because the case makes it too big, or because of the MagSafe battery?Well this sucks. I just realized the case is preventing my phone from charging in my PhoneSoap.
I'm not sure. If I put my phone on my regular Qi charger it works. With the Phonesoap there's a layer of glass between the charger and the phone. I'm guessing the case makes the distance between them too far?Is it because the case makes it too big, or because of the MagSafe battery?
The phone is held by a happy balance between the magnets and the lip, but I guess my Plum didn't have enough lip at one of the corners and I had to push the phone back in every once in a while. The benefit is that the silicone case is easy to put on and take off.Does the case have a lip so I can put the phone face down and not have the screen touch the table?
also is the lip hold the phone in somewhat or is it purely being held by the magnet? As in I could hold the phone by the case and potentially jerk/throw the phone out of the case
Why would apple ever design a case that will hinder its functionality. Swipe up has zero issues or discomfort with the case on.It also has to do with the swipe up gestures that will get compromised by the closed bottom.

Hmm, one corner for sure lost its magnetic connection, so would a sudden jerk propel the phone out? Maybe, but you would have to be making sudden strong movements with the phone in your hand. I think the Plum that I returned was defective and it seems this year's cases were rushed out. I didn't exchanged it because for some reason(s) I just didn't like it. It's not bad, but in the past I would just buy a case and I was done and happy. I wouldn't care if I learned another case was better because the one had was good.
