There is a hack, I'm not sure how effective it is, that lets you use different finger motions on the screen when it's locked in order to change the track and volume, which would be handy if it's in your pocket.

It's called PocketTouch.

Just thought i would ask if there is anyone else that really doesn't like their ipod touch and whether i am the only one.
i dont like the ipod app, its annoying and fiddly and i only have 8gigs which was bloody 200 quid . i need more space.
I also dont like how thin it is, i am afraid to take it anywhere because it might snap.
I am selling it now for £140 and buying an ipod classic!
much nicer =]
i would like to hear your thoughts.
Harry

I think 99.9% of the posters here like their iPod touches, otherwise they wouldn't be here.

SInce you have stated that you are selling yours and buying a classic, what difference does it make now whether anyone else likes theirs? If you're looking for support for your decision you won't find it here.

I'm in agreement, reading back his post he's already made the decission to sell it so what thoughts could we offer? lol

So the AppStore comes out in just about a week. Imagine if the AppStore came out on July 11th and suddenly this guy realizes that the iPod touch possibilities just became so much more than ever.... he's gonna regret his decision. Also, if he just wanted an iPod... why did he get a touch?
