Something is wonky with the forum. I never said the part being quoted above. However, in response to your reply, I wasn't insulting people who work for corporations. I was insulting people who can't comprehend that not every career is like Initech from Office Space.

he changed what you said to try to be funny & make his point. which he failed horribly at doing...

There is a big difference between people who work "your" kind of jobs and those work work "real jobs". You guys, usually, like your jobs. The real jobs guys and gals can't wait for the bell to ring at 5 on Friday...

Don't generalize. I have a "real job" and you know what I do when I get home ? I do the same thing, as a hobby. That's how much I love my 9-5 office job at GigantoCorp. There is no difference between people working as cosmeticians or "real jobs". A hair stylist can absolutely hate his job and the office guy can love working is and vice versa. There is no job that everyone absolutely despises and there is no job that everyone loves.

Individuals are different. But in sense, I much prefer my "real job" being what I like than a "her kind of job", seeing how the wage difference is (hey, that way I can afford more Apple toys).

Yeah, I definitely wasn't quoting you on that. Weird. Here's what I actually quoted (which the forum messed up):

I thought it was funny because she decided to get a tattoo of GigantoCorp instead of just being a worker there.

Umm...no.

Hmm, Poe's law.

Screw you. If you aren't happy with your life and you're too laze to do anything about it, sucks to be you.

I don't want a tattoo but I really wouldn't want one on my hand. Especially a brand.

I'd like to get a tattoo, but not of the apple logo.

As for the criticism regarding putting a corporate logo. While I can understand such statements. We in a sense could make the similar statements about the untimely death of apple's former CEO. I mean he was head of a multibillion dollar corporation, not some religious leader or something.

My point is Steve Job's touched people in a very human way. I'd also say that apple has done so also. I've known quite a few people who are extremely loyal to the apple brand and putting an apple logo isn't out of the question.

I wouldn't do it, but I may get one that is personal to me. For the OP, the apple logo is personal to her

thank you :)

yeah, it's your body, your right you can do whatever you want.
It's nice people have 'free speech' on these forums, but some seem to lack respect. Personally, i wouldn't have it on my hand, but that's me. I'd prefer it on my arm or something. Either way, props to you, enjoy.

Why do people assume that people who are unhappy in their jobs or don't have one are just lazy? Is that all it takes to get your dream job, not being lazy?

I like it.
As long as you like it that the important thing.

People still have a stigma about tattoos, mainly people who don't have them. As long as the tattoo wearer is happy.

I have two tattoos, both have significance to me.
They are not apple tattoos though.

FYI for everyone complaining about how shell never have a real job: Not all of us are worker drones at GigantoCorp who must adhere to policy standards of dress. Some of us work in highly creative fields and our environment actually rewards self expression.

Does anyone know if GigantoCorp is hiring?

Does it turn sexy as often as boys think it does? Are you ever doing a brazillian on a girl and then before you know it, you're making out... then one things leads to another and there's a full on lesbian orgy in the salon?

I tried to ask my girlfriend but she just got mad at me .

Now that's a man with a rich fantasy life!:D

About asking your girlfriend... not so much.

Yes. When you want something in life, you go get it, no matter what it takes. You will try and fail several times until you finally succeed. The lazy need not apply.

Love tattoo's. I have 8.
I have seen good tat's I have seen really really bad ones.
Your's is pretty cool. Like that you did the shade look and not just a black fill.

One tattoo, here - link . I'm getting my second one next month. Alas, the first is on my chest and the next, an octopus, will be on my arm.

I side with those who say that if you like it, that's all that matters.

Good for you.

Tatoos are all about personal expression. Who am I to judge what you like...

People with this attitude still exist?

Face it: you judge people whether you know it or not. You have a every right to judge the actions of another, and others have the right to judge your actions. Who says you can't?

Working at a hair saloon isn't a a highly creative field.

You're a unique little snowflake, just like everybody else.
