you're exactly right. most of these people would not say this stuff in real life. they have huge balls behind their mac computers!

Actually, being a 21 year old university student, I'd probably be waaaayy more mean than people are being if someone I knew got this.

In fact, one of my friends got a stupid tattoo recently and we constantly chirp and laugh at him. Oh, how we laugh.

I'm a cosmetologist, where tattoos are "acceptable." I am never going to be working bankers hours, so I will be fine :)

Tattoos are only acceptable because that's not a real job, no offense intended! When it comes time to make actual money with a career, perhaps your tune will change -unless you plan to marry a man (or woman) with a real career.

See, whenever you post something about yourself on the internet, you have to expect to get made fun of. You're not supposed to fight off the flaming, you're supposed to roll with the punches. Fighting it only makes it worse. MacRumours has got to be the tamest place on the internet, yet it still happens here. But in all honesty, if you really like it, you should rock it despite what literally everyone you ever meet in your life will tell you about it. I'm down with individuality and expression, so if that's what makes you happy, do it! But don't expect people not to snicker or laugh directly in your face every now and then.

I got a tat as well about a month ago but it's of my sons name on my back...

*note still have about eight more hours of detail work to do...

Your sons name is Titan?

Yes, my sons name is Titan... I'm a huge fan of Greek mythology and I believe my son will embody everything the name means.

not a "real" job? ****, then the Monopoly money they pay me with must look pretty damn real because I'm able to spend it. "real career" ha.... I just laugh. I really don't have to justify anything to you. I make enough money :D

please, for the love of God, STAY IN SCHOOL.

That's actually a pretty cool name. I'm not sure I'd want it for myself, but I like it.

There are two things people should never get tat'd on their body and that's a face of a celebrity or corporate logo.

I love Apple products as much as the next person on here but people need stop thinking Steve Jobs was a god. He didn't give an F about you or the greater good of society nor did he come up with and design all of the products you know and love he was business man trying to get money.

If Bill Gates dropped dead tomorrow I doubt people will be crying and getting the windows logo tatted on them. This just ridiculous.

I didn't pass judgement on you at first glance of that tat but after reading through your comments you come off as really immature so it does make sense. Anyways your body enjoy.

reminds me of:

well as long as you're happy, I'm happy! I was just kidding about the cosmetology not being a real profession. I would imagine you have to deal with some real ****s, so I'd guess you earn it.

i don't have a problem with it at all. it looks good.

i personally wouldn't get something on my hand, but that is all a personal preference. don't let everyone here get you down.

This is what I'm talking about - right here. I'm not a tattoo guy, but if everyone on the planet thought the same way I do, my life would be friggin' lame. If this is what you wanted, more power to you, Vanessa.

what's so "immature" about standing up for myself?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_5 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8L1 Safari/6533.18.5)

I got it on my hand because I wanted it in a place I would see daily. when I'm using my phone. not like my shoulder tattoo that I never see. or the one on the back of my neck..

I'm 26 years old. I have a job, so no worries there :)

again, regarding placement... no one is going to think I'm in a "gang." did you know the Aryan Brotherhood uses the shamrock as their symbol, yet it's a sign for luck according to the Irishman. hmm WEIRD!

& to the person who said the Apple logo is not relevant to Steve Jobs.... ? ummmm uhh.... I'll just leave that one alone.

it's a damn good thing I don't live my life to please other people. especially nameless, faceless people on the interwebz :)

You will regret it.Imagine if at 25 in 1982 I'd gotten a Night Rider tattoo.I's have cut my hand off long ago.

Why do you assume the customers would want to deal with the tattooless one? What if the one with a tattoo is smarter and can do more for your company in the long run? I personally love tattoos, and the only reason i'm against the OP is because she got a corporate logo in a trashy/stupid spot. But even so, people shouldn't be judged for tats.

Why are you pretending not to know when you just admitted you are "against the OP is because she got a corporate logo in a trashy/stupid spot."

I would never regret ANY of my tattoos. it's something that I wanted at that point in time, so WHY regret it?

No one anticipates regret, or else they wouldn't do it. It makes no difference to me, but you never know what career path you'll choose in the next 30 years. You know you're going to be a cosmetologist your entire life? However, you could always get it removed anyway.

It would have probably been lame in the 1990s, but now it'd probably be cool again.

I think it's very nice. I thought it was nice years ago when I got the same thing on my wrist. (Though mine is about twice that size, about 2.5" inches across.) Go you!

FYI for everyone complaining about how shell never have a real job: Not all of us are worker drones at GigantoCorp who must adhere to policy standards of dress. Some of us work in highly creative fields and our environment actually rewards self expression.
