Man it took ups long enough! I had a 6, so I didn't really upgrade but in some areas I did. Yay! Rose gold is so pretty!
I'm envious! I have to trade in my old 6 Plus so I have to wait for them to be in stock at my local Apple Stores, which isn't happening anytime soon, from what I've heard. I'm trying to decide between space gray and rose gold. What kind/color case are you using for it, any? I'm thinking of just getting a Rhinoshield bumper with a clear back film protector that I saw on Amazon.

I already have a rose gold 6S plus that I am keeping for use in the house and in the cold months. For being outdoors and active and dressing in lighter clothers in the summer I need to go back to a smaller form factor. Last 2 summers with a huge aluminum waffle in my back pocket was enough. But I will keep the bigger iPhone do use the OIS for videos in the winter when the kids do their school musicals and holiday parties and stuff like that.

Anyway congrats on your new SE. I hope you enjoy it and that it suits you for a long time to come. Oh and welcome to the forum!

THE SE HATE IS FLOWING HARD IN HERE! Honestly, you SE haters amuse me. If you have no interest in the phone why shy people away from it that want a smaller phone with the same specs mostly as your almighty 6s? I think all you 6s owners are just BUTTHURT that people are able to get a phone with better battery and same specs and prettier design for 250$ less. call the WAHHHHHMBULANCE!

Because we don't want anybody to be fooled by this stupid stuff and greedy apple selling recycled iPhones.
Despite all
HATERS GONNA HATE

The SE is a big upgrade from the 5s 6, and a decent upgrade from the 6S. And that's due to the size alone.
I fixed that for you.

It's an upgrade from the 5s/6. Not the 6.

EDIT: Fixed that on myself, based on discussion below.

from a pure spec standpoint it is an upgrade from the 6. I do not see how people do not understand that?

It's not hate so much as it is correction of perception.

SE owners seem to think that the SE is an upgrade to the 6/6s. It's not. The SE is not meant for those of us who want the larger phones. Our upgrade is the 7 later this year.

The SE is an upgrade from the 5s for all those people who didn't want the larger phone. And the technology included in the SE is leaps forward from that of the 5s. But the SE is NOT an upgrade to the 6/6s.

My point made right here. :)

I can see your point you made about the 6S, but it is an upgrade from the 6. The specs are better in the SE than the 6, It doesn't have everything the 6S has, like 3D touch and v2 of touch ID. Other than that specs wise, it's an upgrade from the iPhone 6....Plus the smaller screen is purely preference whether that is an upgrade or not.

Allright. I'm willing to compromise on that. I will agree.

However, I do believe it was meant to be a direct upgrade for those holdouts on the 5/5s/5c as a way to finally get those customers who wanted the smaller form factor to upgrade their phones. Being an upgrade from the 6 is coincidental and based solely on specs.

I agree with your point of view too that it was meant for an upgrade for those holdouts. That being said I think there are many in the same boat as I was. I went from a 4S to a 6 reluctantly, I wanted the 3.5 inch phone, but the 4S was getting to slow. I love my 6, but it's larger than I want, and battery life is somewhat horrible. The SE is definitely better for me.

Totally agree
