Wow, someone really went downrank crazy on this thread.

More on topic: Hopefully filing an eBay claims dispute will turn out okay for you on this.

For those that said not to worry, I wouldn't go that far. I suppose that there isn't much to be gained by worrying, but don't expect that filing an eBay claim will give you 100% resolution.

Several years back, when the Wii was hard to come by (back in the days where stores couldn't keep them in stock), I bought one on eBay for about retail. After the auction ended I waited a week and got nothing and heard nothing from the seller (which aggrevated me even more since I paid for expidited shipping). About a week and a half after the auction ended (and I had already started a claim ticket), the seller contacted me saying that he had been out of the country on business (who sets an eBay auction to end when they will be out of the country?). When he did (supposedly) try to send it, the idiot put it in a wine box, and it got sent back since you can't ship wine to my state. In the end I requested a refund, but I only got about 70% of what I paid from PayPal since the transaction was only covered up to $200 or so.

The moral of the story is that even if PayPal/eBay decides in your favor, you may still get screwed.

Good luck!
