My apple watch did not remind me to go to the bathroom, so my denim is ruined...

I was jogging and there was a red light but I had 10 more calories before I closed my last ring, so I couldn't stop and the Apple watch made me run into the street and get hit by a car...

Apple watch 2 is taking so long to come out so I was forced to buy Apple watch 1, which will completely stop working when Apple watch 2 comes out...

  • Its too slow.
  • I have to touch the screen twice to make it do anything.
  • Its too heavy.
  • Its too big.
  • It doesn't have an option to not show what your texts show.
  • IT takes too long to charge.
  • It invites me to get robbed when I walk through the "ghetto" part of town.
  • My wife divorced me when she was saw my girlfriend texting me on the watch.
  • watch OS 2 deleted all my iPhone apps.

too late for your marriage, but on points 5 and 8 it certainly does have that option. "notification privacy" - "when this is on, notification details will only appear when you tap an alert"

and on the latter point, you said that was the ios 9.3 beta. not watch os 2..

I own an Apple Watch and I must say that:

1. Apps are next to useless on it.
2. It is mega slow when it comes to many things.

However, I find value in:

1. Using it as a watch (cliche but true)
2. Notifications (HUGE)
3. Fitness tracking
4. Glances
5. Siri
6. Navigating music/podcasts when phone is in the pocket

The idea of watch apps doesn't excite me. I never used one that was genuinely useful. Any of the half decent ones are 100x better when used on an iPhone which I always have since you have to have it anyway for the Watch to work properly.

By the time a Watch app loads I can take out my phone, launch the app, and do something with it.

However, the things I find value in are great. I got the SS for $599 and spent some money on bands, AppleCare, etc. All in, I'd say I spent close to $1,000. To me, its worth it for the things I use it for and find joy in. Also because I can afford it and did not need to make any sacrifices to have it.

Would I buy it again? Yes. Will I buy a version 2? Faster app loading and slightly thinner are not going to solve the downsides. Even if the apps loaded instantly, I don't think I'd use many of them as its very impractical. After all there is No keyboard, limited space and input, etc. So answer is maybe, if I like it and got some spare cash. But it won't be a "Must" have for me.

Just wait for the amazing foldable Bluetooth keyboard....or the wonderful Apple gloves that you can tap on your fingers to use.

All kidding aside, I agree with you on some points. I use some apps that I know will benefit me. Once again, it's the software that holds it back. I think the engineering is excellent.

As with my iPhone upgrades, I wait for every other upgrade. In the case of the watch, I think that by the time we reach wOS 3, we will have a reliable and very useful device. But Tim could prove me wrong.....OK. I'm done now....
And, yes, I might buy :apple:Watch 4....

You mean you haven't seen this? It was just leaked earlier today:

Gonna be amazing!

I agree the software has room for improvement. But in all honesty there are limits to how useful a device of this size is EVER going to be. I don't think we can EVER get a keyboard, so typing is out.

I am not sure if some clever way of editing Siri's input will exist. This would solve a big problem of having re-dictate messages a few times because of errors. However, if all we can do is dictate and start-over if it gets something wrong, then it will never be good for more than the quick "I'm on my way" type of messages.

Web browsing will always be out. I doubt a "real" browser can ever happen on a screen THAT small. Even e-mail reading is BARELY passable.

So things that can improve: speed, minor interface/usability tweaks on some apps, battery life (though its fine as is IMO), form factor/exterior design, additional health sensors.

It's quite a hefty list, but for those who are complaining that it doesn't "do" enough (or enough "useful" or "practical" things) it probably will never be enough.

* Wrapping it around my hoo-hoo-dilly is useless because the Taptic Engine running nonstop drains the battery too fast.

.... too much? :)

Girls don't immediately start disrobing when they see me wearing my Apple Watch.
My Apple Watch didn't help me win the Powerball lottery.
Despite my purchase of an Apple Sport Watch, I still can't run marathons.

Just what is Mr. Cook going to do about it?

You must be using it wrong then. All of things things happen to me daily, ok powerball only happens semi-yearly, but it happens man!

  1. My girlfriend hates me because we both love to wear Apple Watch Hermès Cuff; results in more stylist and sexiest then her.
  2. Although, one of the most useless/expensive technology wearable yet simply too charismatically charm.
  3. My straps got expert-treatment for water/stains-proofing, wonder why Apply didn’t do that simply Nano-coating.
  4. I hate my Apple Watch Hermès but I’m proud to have it the very 1st day when it’s launch officially last October.
  5. I hate it because it’s joy/fun to have it.

  • I can't decide if the Rose Gold... I mean pink... I mean copper... version fits me or if it's too feminine? I mean I like it but I don't want people to think things of me. Not that I care what they think, but I'm just wondering. I guess I should create my own topic to gather opinions on this huge matter.

You can't control what people think of you. Somebody might call you an idiot just for having the watch. Somebody called me a "sheep" for having one. I couldn't care less about how somebody else feels about the way I spend my money, LOL.

People will always jump to conclusions in order to satisfy their views...buy the watch. Return if you don't like the look...nobody else...I would wear that.
