Am I the only one who has a habit of closing my apps, clearing browser cache & cookies, etc .. etc ... before shutting down or manually putting to sleep?
Sounds like a lot of wasted effort to me, to be honest. It would severely interrupt my workflow if I closed all my apps when I put my computer to sleep. And of course, the only time I shut down my computer at all is when the system forces me to do so. And then I rely on Resume to get me back to where I was before.
Lion has very poor stability.
That hasn't been my experience.
Snow Leopard works better for serious computing on larger monitors.
Can't say Lion is giving me any trouble on a 20" 1680x1050 Cinema display. Of course, maybe you don't consider that to be a "large monitor" or my computing isn't "serious" enough for you.
Speak for yourself please.Lion is a mess. It's ok for people who do light computing for the rest is a total mess.
