LOL..
I've have every single device since day 1. And now an official AppDev. Deffo not just signed up to a contract.
I'm jus saying is there really a need out there for an upgrade?
Think.
What do you want me to say? I'm proud of you? Anyone can pay $99 a year and call themselves a dev, and yes, there is definitely need for an upgrade.
Apple needs to stay competitive and i'm sorry, but they're running dry on people's patience who expect to see a new model every year.
A lot of things are needed on the iPhone that may not seem like much to many, but they are really important assets in the modern cell market.
1.) A larger screen is becoming a market standard. Most smartphones have a larger screen than the iPhone. People want it.
2.) Dual core processor. This is for the techies. I'm sick of laggy websites, or safari crashing because too many processes are happening at once.
3.) NFC. This isn't as mainstream, but it definitely is important to a lot of people.
4.) More RAM, for more active multitasking.
Those are just four things, not to mention things that aren't even on phones yet. Apple is successful because they stay ahead. They made the first easy to use MP3 players and had success. They made the first true smartphone, and had success. They beat everyone to the tablet market, and had success.
Just because you can't think of anything the iPhone needs, doesn't mean other people can't. Apple has proven time and time again that they are more creative than almost any other tech company and that's why i'll stand by them till the end, or at least until that notion has changed.
