Dude, if he cleaned if off and all that stuff.... How the heck are you gonna know it happened? Besides, even if it didn't happen(Not saying it didn't, I believe it), who cares? It kept me laughing and entertained

Wow. Quite Scary. I actually came across this thread on my ipod touch while in the toilet and yes this reply is being typed while i am sitting on the toilet.

Im pretty sure i would write this ipod touch off if it was to fall in the toilet. It would probably be consumed the second you heard that light yet expensive "splonk" as it hits the water.

I have also decided since there are obiously a large number of us who enjoy the combination of the ipod touch and bodily excretions i thought i would write a few safety guildlines to avoid any ipod toilet water contact and the inevitable pink eye that results in the retrival of it.

1. While watching your favorite show from the comfort of you throne always make sure you are leaning slightly forward or if that is not possible keep your knees together. This will prevent the ipod from slipping through your legs to its doom.

2. Do not try and wipe and watch for those of us who have trouble distinguising between right and left this is especially important. Once you are done with you bussiness Put the ipod down no matter how interesting the show that you are watching may be. Apple thought of a solution to not missing any of the action during this time called a pause button.

3. Place the iPod at least 5 feet infront of you and remove the headphones. This will prevent what is know as "The Matrix Effect" where the ipod is jerked up by the headphones in a seemingly slow motion effect and lands in the toilet ( this is more commen than you may think). This also has the added benefit of the ipod not being trodden

4. Before recovering the ipod after hauling up your pants flush the toilet and put the lid down.

5. Finally no matter how late you may be for work or an appointment NEVER RUSH. 90% of ipod related are a result of people rushing to work and forgetting the above precautions.

literally my ipod fell down the sink whilst i was doing the dishes just like 3 minutes ago... and now my music or videos do not play the sound out loud without headphones in ! Rooarr
