Business days is the clue, so they could start shipping today or tomorrow. My estimate is 22nd-24th October. So earliest would be Wednesday I would guess.

Mine is the same, 22nd-24th. Hoping Wednesday if I'm honest! I just don't know when it'll actually come though. I guess at least we can track online rather than just have a waiting game not knowing where it is!

Hope people who's haven't gone to preparing get it the same time as others. Really want to be in the first day of iPad Air shipments.
I think one sign that nothing has really happened yet is that my iPad Air 2 (ordered immediately after the store was available) is not yet entered in my support profile yet. My iPhone 6 Plus appeared there already a couple of days before it was shipped.

One of the team in the Regent Street, London Apple store seem to think that the iPad Air 2 will start shipping tomorrow (Tuesday), and if you placed your order early, chances are it will arrive Weds or Thursday.
On a separate, but slightly related note, I actually went in there to have a look at the new Retina iMac, but they didn't have any on the shop floor. They are apparently due to ship Wednesday.

Hm, I placed my order for a Soft Pink Smart case and a 64GB Gold iPad Air 2 Friday evening, but both of them are still processing? I've noticed nearly everyone else that snapped up a case has seen theirs prepare for shipment but mine's lagging behind a bit.
I'm in the UK and I ordered mine via Apple's Education Store (hell 5% off is still 5% off) so maybe that's why mine's being a little funky? They haven't charged me yet either.
Anyways my case is apparently coming between the 23rd-27th and dispatch being in '1-3 business days'. The iPad is saying between the 22nd-24th, dispatch being 2-4 business days.

Also still processing. Hold was put on my card for the full amount and my Estimated Delivery Dates are Oct 22-24 still. Guessing it's going to be more towards the latter.
I ordered a 128 gb iPad Air 2 from ATT (LTE version) on the first day of pre-orders. My shipping delivery date has always been 11/3-11/7. Does anyone think that is just ATT being safe with their delivery dates, or is that a pretty firm date range for that model?
There was an option before the preorder checkout to have it ship faster, I didn't check to see what the options were though.

I ordered a 64GB, WiFi + Cellular, in white/silver, with a green smart cover. I have a red smart cover from my current Air, which I love, but another color will be nice to have.
The Smart Cover will be here tomorrow (Tuesday) and the iPad is expected to be here between the 23rd and the 27th. I'm hoping the former.

Order mine on saturday afternoon, Still processing, my CC has not been charged yet. ETA on delivery is Oct 23-27. Im really hoping to get it sooner, im really missing my ipad already !!
Education discount shouldn't make a difference. Mine is still saying processing and I'm also in the UK. As long as I get it for the weekend I'll be happy! Mine also says 22nd-23th. But I was told it's more likely to be near Wednesday than near Friday.
