I think so but it all depends on how they count the business days. Did they count Friday? Did Saturday count?

If either is true Monday would be day 2 and we should see movement.

I hope they have stockpiled some here so they don't all have to come from China.

I think the iphones are made to order, because of the variations and mass orders trying to be filled, and making sure the phones aren't shipped and released earlier than the set launch date, the iPads are probably here already just waiting to just be sent out to us and the stores...
At least I hope so.:cool::apple:

I'm guessing covers will go out today and pads tomorrow.

What did our parents get excited about? The Beatles, smoking pot, acid, the latest comic????? What a great era we live in.

I think if you ordered online it will come shipped from China. What do they call it, some accounting / supply chain term. Wip???

I'm thinking iPads will start going out tomorrow, Tuesday. It's Monday now so I inagine its a hive of activity in those factories right about now.
 
It's Monday morning in China right now, albeit a bit early. If they are doing Monday shipping from China, people should start seeing ship notifications.
 
Order yesterday iPad Air 2 Gold 64 GB WiFi, delivers by Oct 23-27 :S

Im hoping i can get it on the 23rd, since just sold my old iPad Air and im already missing it!
 
I just called best buy to see if they knew when the new airs would be in stock in the store. The guy said probably a couple of weeks. I hope he is wrong. I'm hoping to buy one in the store Friday!

If you go through the order process on Best Buy's website, it should give you the date for store pick-up. Here it's Friday, the 24th.

Anyone have any movement on their iPads (not accessories) yet? It's going to be interesting to see how they make the 10/22-10/24 delivery estimates unless they ship tomorrow with 3 day, or maybe next-day?

Mine still says processing, but my credit card was charged today. Hoping it'll ship tomorrow.

Something tells me many of them are already in country, and at distribution centers. Shipping will start tomorrow.

Last 2 years I pre ordered my iPad it came from a distribution center close to me, came in on the day it was to be available in the store.

Yeah, Apple's supply chain is really really tight. The vague information they gave on delivery tells me they can't assign actual tracking numbers since they've left China already and will be applied on arrival.

Apple stores are great and all but it's getting harder and harder to get away from work to wait in line

How do you know when to wait at home?
 
I'm the same as everyone else as well

Delivery set for the 23rd to the 27th. Ordered yesterday (Sunday) in the UK.

I was told on the phone to Apple that shipping would be more likely closer to Wednesday than Friday for me. So I'm hoping it will ship Wednesday. Wonder when they'll go into the stores? I remember quite a few small product launches (iPad mini 2013, iMac 2013 updates) going into stores unannounced on a Tuesday. So I wonder if they could be in stores tomorrow?

I have he same feeling. I hope it comes earlier in my delivery estimate rather than later as I'm lucky enough to be off Tuesday through Friday. Should be plenty of time for it to arrive and me to play with before heading back to work

Just ordered cases this morning at 1-3 business days.

Apparently they are more likely to arrive within 1 day than 2 days as 2 days accounts for issues. Wonder if we could get these tomorrow?
