Expedite Delivery

Ordered 64gb Space Grey WIFI on October 17th at 1 pm EST in Toronto, Shipped October 21st ... email confirmation from Apple received Oct 21 @ 10pm EST advising Delivers 28 Oct, 2014 via Standard Shipping!!!! Waiting for UPS tracking to confirm.

Not impressed :( 7-days to ship????

Has anyone been able to get Apple to upgrade delivery from "standard" to "expedited".

No? If they are coming straight from China, they are packaged and addressed in China before flying here to the states. At least, that's the way it's been with everything I have ever pre-ordered from Apple.

Delivery date of Oct. 28 was just emailed to me from Apple. Chicago.
 
there should be another thread for LTE models preparing to ship in the U.S. i cant tell if the people who are saying Preparing to ship ordered wifi or LTE. >:C

Is this your first order from Apple?

"Standard" shipping is essentially two day. Keep in mind that these packages are literally arriving on Canadian soil as they are being shipped to us. If you were to order an item in stock (such as the smart case), it would arrive at your house, shipped from the United States(!), within two days. Apple is ridiculously prompt with their shipping and they use expedited services.

Mine changed also yesterday to "preparing shipment" but is still on this status since then... Should be shipped from the Netherlands to Luxembourg (where I'm living), according to apple helpline.

Hopefully they are sending them out tonight.
I think the express delivery can be a 1 day delivery. The Netherlands isn't that far away from us :)

Agreed, there should be a thread since basically no one is showing movement. I'm not even at preparing to ship, still stuck in processing but my order email came at 11:13am Eastern Time Friday.

Well the way its looking this thread may soon become that thread by default. Looks like US cellulars are the last to ship period.

Ordered Air 2 64gb silver wifi w engraving on Sunday Oct 20 and it was expected to arrive oct 22-24. checked shipping on Monday and it had already gone out (From China) was supposed to be delivered friday 10/24 but scheduled for early delivery tomorrow 10/23

***forgot to mention shipping from China to DC***

Picked up my iPad Air 2 bright and early this morning from UPS. Was pretty surprised when apple sent me the shipping notification yesterday around 6 and it was ready for pick up today. In my opinion definitely apples best tablet yet. I'm a very happy camper right Now. :D:D

Sigh. I have lost hope for this week. I ordered mine a couple of minutes before 8am PST (EPP store seemed to come up before regular store.) Got my confirmation email at 10:03am CST and no movement whatsoever. Still processing. But I haven't received an email from Apple stating my deliver by date has changed, that still says Oct 23-27.

Patience is not my middle name.
 
So since everyone's talking about LTE models and order status I thought I'd throw this out there....
I ordered a gray 128gb, wifi+cellular LAST NIGHT and my card has been charged and the status says "preparing to ship"....

The shipment notification email for my iPad Air 2 in Canada and it says the delivery date is October 28th.. when I track it on UPS it doesn't have a delivery date yet but I noticed it was "Shipped By: UPS Standard" which from my experience is quite a slow shipping method.

the ipad in my case (austria) is coming from prague!
hopefully delivered tomorrow by DHL express :)
 
Just called my local Apple Store. I asked when the iPad Air 2's will be available in store. I was told that the stores have not been told when they will receive them yet, and even if you order online today, you will almost guaranteed get them before the Stores do. So unfortunately, those of us who were thinking of cancelling our still processing pre-orders and picking up in stores, that doesn't seem to be a viable solution of getting it sooner! Guess we just need to wait.
