iPad I just placed my iPad Air 2 order. Post your shipping estimates!

Mine was just marked as shipped! :D order on saturday afternoon wifi gold 64gb. Still not able to see when it's going to be delivery,even though i have the tracking #, it still does not show in UPS tracking page :S

Hopefully i get it before friday,

ok so mine was marked as shipped around 5pm yesterday and is shipping to ontario canada. The shipping label was created around 9:41pm. It's 10:19 am and UPS still hasn't received the package! Any luck i could still get it by tomorrow? UPS isn't giving me a date but apple said I should have it on the 24th.

UPS is known to skip some scans so it may have skipped the origin scan but you should get it by then.

Mine's the same. Shipping label has been created - it'll probably take a few days for it arrive. The only issue I have is that it says UPS Standard (which I think is Ground service). I assume that these will make it to a central hub in Canada and from there on will ship out using UPS Standard service. BTW, Apple gave me a delivery date of Oct 31.

Anyone in Canada received theirs as yet?

yeah, ups standard is ground ... however, the other thing worth mentioning is - i can't see where its shipping from on the ups website. but when i use the ups mobile app, its saying it's shipping from burlington (which is about 45 min away from me). maybe I'm just grasping at straws but I'm REALLY hoping that means since its so close, it could just be moved around today and delivered tomorrow.
 
I'm getting my ipad air 2 64gb space gray tomorrow!

I have a question. I have an old ipad air smart case.. Can i also use it for the new air 2?

Both myself and a friend in Canada received delivery dates of October 28th from Apple, if that's actually the case it really sounds like they dropped the ball on shipping in Canada as people from all over the world are receiving their iPads already.
 
In Canada also. My order also now has a shipping label.

In the past standard shipping from Apple does not mean ground. Our iPhone 6 orders went from California and were held in Ontario. The night before the release date the phones were flown overnight from Ontario. Past Apple orders were the same.

If my order does not arrive on Friday morning I will just go to the store and buy an iPad . I will return the one on that arrives on Monday.
 
I'm in Japan (Osaka) and my Space Grey 64GB Wifi-only model has just been marked as Shipped. (I ordered 10 minutes after pre-orders opened)
 
Ordered on Sunday night (19th). Just received the Shipment Notification email, expected Delivery Date tomorrow (23rd). East Coast USA.

128 GB Space Gray, WIFI only.

Case was ordered at the same time, and should arrive today.

Yes, my iPhone was shipped the same way. However, the iPhone shipped UPS International Express Saver while the iPad is shipping UPS Standard. Looks like the distribution in Canada is going to be slower than the rest of the world. As the poster above mentioned, it probably will be distributed out of Burlington via UPS Ground. Since I am out in Victoria, it'll probably take 4-5 business days to get to me. :(

Probably, although not officaly supported.
The Smart Cover is the same, as the product page says it's for iPad Air and iPad Air 2. However, on the Smart Case product page only iPad Air 2 is supported.

So my guess is: your iPad Air 2 will fit in your iPad Air Smart Case, maybe with a tiny little bit of wobbling. The other way around may be harder: to fit an iPad Air 1 into a Smart Case 2.

The iPad Air 1 smart case WILL NOT fit the iPad Air 2. Apple said it in their keynote following the announcements of the new iPads

Did your phone come from China? Ours came from California perhaps that is the difference in shipping. I hope ours will arrive on Friday. Cheers
 
Ordered mine (128gb in Gold) from Apple on the 20th. Received a text stating shipped with delivery on the 24th. Husbands is being shipped to Best Buy to be picked up on Friday. (64gb, Grey) Both are WIFI only.

That's because they want you to buy new ones. The length and width are the same... The only differences are weight and depth so it will be thinner but if you want to save the money it us doable but wobbly in it

Suspect for folks in Toronto it will be shipped out of Concord Ontario where the main UPS Hub is.

Apple's first email on Oct 17th said: Available to ship: 2-4 business days Delivers: 27 Oct - 29 Oct by Standard Shipping. The one I got last night says Oct 28th by standard shipping. Hopefully UPS can beat that. A shipping label has been created but there's no estimated delivery date from UPS.

My cover was estimated by Apple for Oct 24th but it's on the truck for delivery today.

Agree .. seems like we are lagging :( Hopefully UPS will be able to get these out quickly once they get them.
 
I just noticed that mine was shipped via UPS ground, still says to be delivered by Oct 23rd. I would assume it's coming from somewhere really close to north jersey :S
 
Delivery date was moved from Friday to Thursday. Left Ontario, CA, at 6:45 a.m. today, supposed to be here in southern Utah County by end of day tomorrow. If that happens, that pretty good for ground shipping.

My wife is already making noise about wanting the 64GB instead of the 16, so we'll likely be driving up to the Apple Store in Murray (south Salt Lake City) Saturday.
 
Mine just left Harrisburg about an hour ago and will be here tomorrow. It's going to be a raining day tomorrow so I will have a lot of time to play around with it once it arrives.
 
I ordered mine Friday afternoon. I checked my status a few minutes ago and it's still listed ass "Processing Items". Should I be concerned?

iPad Air 2, 64GB, 4GLTE, Space Gray.

I'm located in Murrieta, California (84 miles from Los Angeles).
 
Ordered 5min after go-live last Friday.

iPad Air 2 64GB Wifi + iPad Mini 3 64GB Wifi, "Preparing for Shipment" for almost 24 hours now.
Getting a bit nervous now if it will be delivered before the weekend - sold my Air already and won't make it until Monday without one :)

At least Apple granted me "Express shipping" instead of Standard Shipping by default...

I'm in Austria (as my nick may already indicate)

Additional question: If anyone in Austria already has one shipped, where is it coming from? China or Europe?
