Ah I'm in Toronto and hoped my delivery time gets bumped! LOL but i BTO to 4GB but that shouldn't be too hard lol. It only increased the estimated delivery by 1 day.
I don't know haha and yeah wow Canadian prices suck especially with the lovely 13-14% tax!
Thank god for student discount but it was still $1790 with ram upgrade! I was debating the MBP, but it's not as portable, 1lb is a big difference compared to the 0.4lb difference in the previous gen.

Sorry I'm rambling but I can't wait!!!

I got the 2.4 new macbook today! Stock model. I just got it at the apple store near my house about 2 hours ago! It's so cool! The new trackpad...is hard to get used to

Hey Aztec, i had a question for ya...

is yours shipping from Shanghai, China? because thats where mine seems to be shipping from, do all orders ship from there, because i thought only the BTO ones did, not the stock models...and is the carrier UPS? seems like for all the canadian orders, apple is using UPS rather than FedEx.

also, on my Confirmation email, it says standard shipping (8 days), but when i look at the tracking info, it says expedited, and will arrive by the 21st. im a little confused haha...

I'm not really sure where my MacBook is shipping from, but is seems that Purolator is shipping it. On the email Apple sent me to confirm the shipment, it said the notebook should be delivered by October 17th. I'm crossing my fingers...

Ordered a 13' 2.00 GHz MacBook I'm a bit disappointed that it does not have Firewire (400) as i really like the speed of it (and no USB 2.0 is not faster than Firewire 400 in real life - only in Intel Spec...)

Got mine last night. Walked into my local Apple store and out with a new 2.4 GHz model. They didn't have RAM upgrade kits in, but went to another store in my area and got the 4GB upgrade.

White MacBook

I ended up buying a White Macbook last night at my local store in Buffalo, yes because of my two 750gigs and cams that use firewire. I spoke to a rep and manager about how sales where going etc... and they said that the Whitebooks we're selling really well unlike the new Aluminum models. They said they've had a bunch of people ask if the whole firewire deal was true and have ppl upset about there is no mid range MacBook they could buy. Maybe this is only happening in my location, but somehow I think it's more wide spread.
