He says "Time for a Wednesday release" - I think that's the give away.

I think he's wrong, except:

iPod classic/Nano/Shuffle: Weds 05/09/07
Macbook last updated: Thurs 01/11/07
Cinema displays last updated: Weds 04/04/07

So Apple don't only update stuff on a Tuesday...

Just because that was when they were released doesn't mean they were announced that day, they were prob announced on a Tuesday.

well the day isn't over, but it appears that things aren't going to turn out as i expected.
i was wrong, and to all those whose hopes that i raised, i sincerely apologise.

nevertheless, it has shocked me how immature the macrumors community appear to be. Admittedly it isn't everyone, but some of the comments posted here are a little over the top. It is a computer afterall!

:apple:

how did you expect a rumored forum site to be? everyone is friendly round here and loves one another ;)

OP your a f*king idiot. Where's your uncle's child's best friend NOW?! I suggest leaving the forum forever - you'll probably just change your username though.

OP I believe you believed you were correct, so I'm not angry at you for being wrong.

Also, your proper use of They're instead of Their or There gives me hope for the future.

I hope you were only 6 days off :) Stay grammatically correct!

Aperature supports Multi-Touch.

"Using Multi-Touch Trackpad Gestures with Aperture 2

If your portable computer has a Multi-Touch trackpad, you can use Multi-Touch
trackpad gestures when working with Aperture. For example, when working with
images in the Browser, you can use the rotate gesture to rotate images and the swipe
gesture to select a different image. In addition to using the standard trackpad gestures
used with Mac portable computers, you can also use Multi-Touch trackpad gestures
with the following Aperture features."

Given that the instructions focus on portable computers and the only the MBA has multi-touch it would be safe to assume that other laptops would be coming out supporting multi-touch. Aperture is a pro product and the MBA doesn't seem a likely candidate for Aperture.

It gives me hope that the new MBP's will be out soon.

Wow hey I hate threads like this as much as the next guy but that's pretty harsh. I suggest you leave the forum for flaming and being an idiot.

Hey mate, just because you don't get any, doesn't mean that you have to take it out on anyone else. I mean, when the only pleasure you're getting is sticking your Mighty Mouse into your MBP, what right do you have to tell him to leave the forums forever?

I suggest that you either:

Stop having sexual relations with your Laptop

or

Get a life and stop bashing OP's.

The 19th or 26th is looking pretty good :D

Seriously though, the iPhone/Touch SDK thing on the 26th is a much, MUCH bigger deal to Apple than a MBP refresh. They want as much developer support as possible, and as much press as possible to combat the notion that the iPhone is a "closed" platform. So it makes sense to focus on that for the 26th.

I'm hoping for the 19th on these MBPs. I've only gotten desperate in the past few days :)

Hahahahahhahahahahhaha

That makes sense! Cause I got this box delivered to me supposedly from Apple and on it says, "Don't Open Until Tomorrow." OMFG!!!

ok you folks have made my day! This forum cracks me up!

Agreed

leave this guy alone. he obviously wasn't joking around - he believed it and wanted to tell everyone else as a courtesy. There isn't anything wrong with that, whether or not what he says comes true.

I completely agree with you. The tone of my post wasn't to pick on him, it was to say "I believe you weren't screwing with us". I think he's an OK guy. The guy right before me needs to lay off him.

You're right. Sometimes MacRumors just has too much of exactly that.

Appreciate my position was the result of
a) Multiple '!!!!' in a Thread Title
b) My 'Uncles-Brothers-Son' Scenario
c) Absolutely no relevant proof attached to OP
