I hate to sound like a broken record, that looks like a really nice case, but that damn button jelly bean thing is just uncalled for.

Yeah, that is my only sticking point and the reason I wanted to play with one in person before purchasing. Does it really need to be so big?

you can only buy direct on the site. You can trust me when i say you will love the case. The fact that its only $15 helps also if for some reason you happen not to like it.

Yes, the price is certainly very attractive. Thanks for the info regarding retail availability.

My Review

Here is my review of the SwitchEasy Colors case that I got a few days ago.

I received my SwitchEasy Colors case a few days, so I've had a bit of time to play around with, and see how it fares in day to day use.

It is extremely simple to put, just slide the bottom in first then roll the top corners in. Immediately it gives a nice snug fit. It gives full chrome, volume rocker and home button protection. Speaking of the home button, it is accessed by pressing a "jelly" like piece of plastic. I have found this to be OK most times, but sometimes I don't know if I'm pressing hard enough, because at times it's hard to tell if your pressing down the actual physical home button, or just the "jelly". The case also includes a dock protector, a headphone jack protector, 2 screen protectors and a little cloth.

The silicon that this case is made out of, is very nice. It has a nice soft feel to it, and comes in and out of your pocket relativly easy; with minimal lint attraction (although I think it's more noticeable with the black because you can see light colored lint much more on the dark). The back is completely smooth, no SwitchEasy logo's nothing, just a little cut-out for the camera lens. One little complaint about the silicon, is that the border along the screen flaps up quite easily, but I guess you can't expect flap-free from a soft silicon case like this.

Although the case is quite thin, it sometimes is difficult to access buttons on the screen that are at the very bottom, because the ridge is in the way. But it doesn't bother me too much. The power button and volume rocker piece are nice and thick, and give a nice tactile feel. The ringer/silent switch is slightly difficult to switch because it's very close to the silicone on both sides, but again, it's not that big of deal.

The screen protectors that come with it are actually quite decent. I would highly recommend to find a dust free (or as close as you can get) room, because during application, dust can come in contact with the protector and that's not good. I steamed up my bathroom a bit, which worked quite well, (if your wondering why steaming up your bathroom, it's because the dust particles will cling to the water molecules in the air, thus a dust free-er room).

So, in conclusion, I really think this is a great case, it has a great feel. It provides overall protection, and has a nice simplistic look. Plus it comes in an assortment of colors.

If you have any specific questions just ask, and here are some pictures:

PS. I have a few more pictures on my Flickr stream because I didn't want to overload this with pictures.

I too was concerned about the jelly bean, but after seeing it in person and using it, it contrasts the case so well and really completes the overall look. It also feels very nice, not really like a jelly but yet a soft plastic. It makes the case stand out and without it would be just another colored silicone case. Give it a try you wont be dissapointed.

All right, dannyar, you talked me into it. I just ordered one. They owe you a commission. :)

LOL no commission needed, I'm just a consumer like you who found some nice cases and want to make sure I get the word out.

Got mine Stealth Colors yesterday. This is the 3rd case I've tried for my 3G. The first was a CaseMate Leather signature (too bulky), next a Black Neo (a touch to slippery, bottom of the I frame was a touch loose, but still the best hard case I've seen). I now have this one, and the Colors one is a keeper. Great fit, not too slippery or sticky, just right......

Anyone have updates on there colors case ?
How has it been ?

Mine is great so far, just getting use to having it in the pocket.

they have been great so far.

I was recently contacted by zoltan from switcheasy who came across this thread and advised me if I could provided 5 transaction ID's from people on this thread or in these forums who bought a colors case because of my reviews in this thread and they would send me a free case of my choice to review. So PLEASE if my reviews convinced you on a colors case please contact me via PM with a transaction ID so I can get some more reviews up on these forums thanks again!

I received my case yesterday. It's everything I was looking for in a case. It fits over the Invisible Skin just fine and the jellybean button is a lot less obnoxious 'in person' than I thought it would be. For some reason, it looks much larger in the pictures.

ID is on its way, too.

Cool that you like it so far. What color did you get?

I got the stealth (black with a red button).

I may modify it slightly. The edge around the screen is somewhat sharp and I keep snagging it. I might round it off a bit. If that works, I will also remove the flashing ridge that goes around the outer edge of the case as I'd prefer it to be smooth.

I just got the Milk today. I love it too. The button feels nice. Overall, the case feels real nice. Fits perfect. Adds very little bulk to the phone and yet it's very protected. I have a white InCase too. I'll be switching on and off between the 2. :D

Dannyar... i don't have an order number for you though. Mine was a replacement to a sagging Capsule Rebel. :(

I won't own an iPhone until either 1) it's on Sprint's or maybe Verzon's network, or 2)AT&T starts providing insurance for the phone and a $100 everything plan that actually gives me 3G speeds where I live.

But once I say the Switch Easy cases, I wanted an iPhone just to own one of the cases.

Thats ok, you can provide me the original order ID and i will let them know you made an exchange for the colors. Id appreciate it.

As far as the insurance, state farm offers a personal insurance on iphones. You pay 35 a year and it covers everything from damage to theft or loss.

just bought mine. although its a bit loose around the home button, i like it. it makes my phone feel like an iPhone again after coming from the black rebel. feels really good in the hand and looks good. the jelly bean home button makes it more then the usual silicon case which is good.

If you apply a body skin it sits much more tight . If it's not a problem do u think you can provide me the transaction ID via pm if my review helped you make your decision. Much appreciated.

Danny thanks for the recommendation, i bought mine based on your great reviews and I love it!

Love that Red color. Its my next one. I also just ordered the Seidio Case with the holster. Itsmemorphious loves it and its slimmer than anything ive seen and i love holsters. The holster also works with the colors!

Has anyone test whether or not the Colors work with the Universal Dock Adapter and the Video Dock Stand that came with the Rebel or Neo?

Also, does the silicon gets dirty like the white Neo's I-Clip after a while?

Well I went ahead and ordered a Stealth. Didn't think I would because of that stupid button but looking at it, it's growing on me. Can't wait to get it.

dannyar I bought it from a different company, does that still count?
