I just spilled juice on the 4th Gen Apple TV and now the touch pad is a bit jerky and some of the buttons are sticky. Im look at cheaper replacements. Will the 3rd Gen remote work? Do you guys know of other brands that will work good with Apple TV?

Thanks!

If you have given up on the remote, why not wash it with water, make sure it thoroughly dries and then see if it works better? I spilled orange juice across a MacBookPro once and the trackpad button was sticky. I kept cleaning the crevice with a Qtip with water and eventually I cleaned the stickiness out. Worth a shot since you are ready to find an alternative anyway.
