I'm not normally an indecisive person, but I just can't make up my mind about if I want the 6 or 6 plus.

I've gone to Verizon and held both testers, but it's hard to tell which I'll prefer in day to day use.

Well then you didn't spend enough time in the Verizon store. Go there again to spend enough time with both devices and play through various real-life situations in your head until you figure it out.

Returned my iPhone 6 Plus and got the 6 today... Tried to love the 6 Plus the last 2 weeks, but it just felt awkward. I'm not a small guy either 6'2 180lbs, just was too big for me. Very happy with the 6 now :)

No disrespect my very good friend but the 6- was just too small in my opinion. We all have our own thoughts and feelings regarding this new iPhone and I was just expressing mine. If you are a fan of the 6- then by all means, utilize it until your heart is content and I wish you the best of luck regarding whichever handset you choose.

Why are you calling it a 6-? Just trying to compensate for something?

My thoughts as well, sounds like someone is in need to boost their ego :)

WOAH! We are twins separated at birth! Also 5'2" with crazy small hands! When people would constantly ask me about bendgate, I would tell them how I never use pockets and it would always just goes from my purse to my hands to my desk and back. Here's the kicker: I too am from Boston, but have transplanted to Los Angeles.

That's funny - My husband spent 10 yrs in and around LA and wants to move back out there someday. So maybe in the future I'll be a transplant too :)

- to the OP - I think the person who suggested you get the plus & trial it, then if you don't like it, exchange for the 6 had the best idea. It's much easier to exchange a plus for a 6 than the other way around.

To me, the 6 felt like just another iPhone, felt like just a slightly bigger iPhone 5/5S, I went with the 6+ and loving the phone in every aspect :D

Flip a coin. If you're willing to rely on the advice of complete strangers to make a decision for you, a coin will work just as well (and is worth about as much).

get the 6. I have both the 6 and 6 Plus and every time i pull the 6 plus out of my pocket i can instantly notice how inconvenient it is.

I'm not normally an indecisive person, but I just can't make up my mind about if I want the 6 or 6 plus. I like bigger phones, but I don't want the 6 plus to be so large that it's an inconvenience. I also would like better battery life.

I've gone to Verizon and held both testers, but it's hard to tell which I'll prefer in day to day use. I'm a girl, 5'6 with normal sized hands.

I guess what I'm asking is, what did you pick? Male or female? Did you regret choosing one size? Even exchange one for the other?

Any feedback in helping me make my decision is appreciated!
Go big or go home.

I got the 6+, loved it but wanted a smaller size so I got the 6. Loved the feel but missed the battery life and so u went back and exchanged my 6 for a 6+. I told my self the 6, while smaller isn't 100% 1 handed and if I'm going to use it two handed I might as well get the 6+ so I'm back on a 6+. It's more visually exciting and love the battery life. Good luck on your decision as it's tough.

Get both and then you don't have to worry. That's what I did. I have the 6 now and waiting on the 6+. I got the 6 for $399 and sold my 5s for $315 to Gazelle. I had a 5 laying in a desk and sold it to Gazelle for $200 and used another upgrade to get the 6+. Now all I have to do is wait on the 6+ and I'll just switch sim cards between the two. There are things I like the 6+ for and I think the 6 will be the normal carry phone.. I'm hoping to stop carrying around the Ipad mini.

Male, normal sized hands. I chose the 6. I just thought the 6 plus was to big for me to use comfortably. I wanted a phone that goes in and out of the pocket relatively easily. And since I work in construction I need a case that's especially dust proof. 6 was the way to go. Lifeproof is not offering its fre case for the 6 plus for some reason. I have not regret my decision.

Come play with the rest of us 6+ ladies in this thread... you'll find there are a lot of us.

Now, there's also a lot of discussion about shopping, but that's a good thing, right?

6+.

6 ft male with big hands. I can use the phone one handed and don't need to use this "reachability" that Apple speaks of.

5.5" screen is perfect for me.... Never even considered the smaller 6. The 6+ is comfortable in my hand and easy to grip in my Ballistic slim case. I fully expect to use this phone 2 years after upgrading from the 5s. The screen size, battery and camera is what sold me. I don't see next years phone being that much better... And most certainly don't need a screen size increase. This one is perfect.

A+ to Apple...

I have a 6 Plus and my wife has a 6. She never even considered the 6 Plus but isn't a big fan of it even after she got to try it out. I love the 6 Plus but there was a 2 day period were I briefly thought about going to the 6. The 6 Plus is great for surfing the web, playing games, and movie viewing but it can be a pain to handle at times. I feel like the 6 Plus has more upside and once the optimized apps start rolling out most who chose the 6 Plus will be glad they stuck with it.

Both my wife and I opted for the plus. A more natural choice for me I suppose, seeing as I'm 6 feet five inches tall with hands to match. That said my wife loves her plus as well:)

I went with the 6+. I'm a 5'5" female and I haven't had any trouble adjusting to the size after coming from an iPhone 5S. Typically, I use my phone with two hands, so I don't need it to be a one handed device. And, my phone is never in my pocket. It's always in my large purse or sitting on my desk at work. I love the screen size and battery life of the 6+. Really happy with my choice.

Good luck with your decision!

I received my 6 plus yesterday. I'm about 6'1" and have relatively big hands compared to the norm. After a day with the phone, I was having second thoughts. It is more difficult to type with one hand and to know what I can and can't reach with my thumb.

With that being said, it's all about adjusting. I've read stories about people getting the plus, using it a day and returning it. I will ride this out to see how I adapt to it and if I can make changes to the way I'm used to using my phone.

I do not own an iPad. I hardly use my phone for actual phone calls. I'm a texter and use it for apps and internet a lot. This is why I got the plus. The display is amazing and the battery life is pretty solid so far.

I'm a 5'6" guy who got the 6 Plus on launch day. After using it for over two weeks, I think it's safe to say I made the right decision. I had my concerns about whether or not I'd made the right decision, but after seeing the 6 in person, it didn't feel like that much of an upgrade over the 5/5S, at least in terms of the display. That extra diagonal 0.7" isn't that much.

There's no doubt that by going with either the 6 or 6 Plus, you may have some regrets. Yes, the 6 is easier to hold, and will be the more practical choice for most people. But you also gain a lot in terms of real estate and battery life with the 6 Plus.

My personal recommendation for you would be the 6 Plus, as having a purse (I'm assuming you would have one most of the time) will make it easy for you to carry, negating the size aspect.

I'm a 5'9 male, with average hands. I already knew I was going to purchase the 6. When I went to the local Apple store yesterday, I confirmed what I already knew. The 6+ was simply too big and did not interest me in the slightest. I went with the 6, and I still think that is big since I'm so used to my 5s. I'm sure I will get use to it over time though.

I have had many phones. The 6 is a good size. The plus also has a good size. I currently have a g3 with a 5.5 inch screen. All depends what you feel will work best for you. For me I can go either way with size as I'm accustom to them all. I currently have a 6 en route. I ordered the 6 then canceled and ordered a plus. Then canceled today and ordered a 6 which I should have tomorrow. I just enjoy trying new devices. Good luck with your decision.

I'm 6'2 with slightly larger than average hands; so relatively the same size as you and I got both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus next to me right now.

I actually returned my first 2 iPhone 6 Pluses but ended up purchasing another one later for a different line.

At almost 3 weeks after launch I've finally gotten used to both devices. With the 6 I can do everything I can do on the 5S but better. With the 6 Plus I still struggle doing routine tasks.

For instance when I took it out of my pocket, it always required a little more shuffling in my hand to get it in the appropriate grip. With the 6 I could whip it out, check maps or messages and put it back in the pocket. With the 6 I'd kinda hesitate since it required more effort.

Other tasks like snapping a quick pic one-handed sucked on the Plus. Try holding the phone vertically, focusing with that same thumb and then snapping a pic, it's awkward and downright dangerous.

You can adapt but it won't even be the same. IMO the Plus is good for people with really small hands, small enough where the 6 is too big, or really large hands.

I'm male 5'7 and i have small hands.
I tried the iphone 6 and it is nice. started using like my Iphone 5s one handed, a bit more difficult though but easy to get used to.

I wanted the 6 plus so bad though since i watch lot of videos (movies and youtube) on my iphone. i also do lot of surfing on it. The problem was since the 5s was small, i've never enjoyed it using for media consumption and long surfing session and i even abandoned gaming on it. To me it was just a phone with internet capability. I am one the people who were waiting for a bigger screen and almost switched to Android.

So for me with the iphone 6 i didn't feel like i had new product after 1 or 2 day. Like i said above i used it like my iphone 5s.
So i went to replace it for an Iphone 6 plus to try if i will like it even though i was worried about the size. Yes i admit it is much harder to use it one handed for me, it is less discrete than the 4' iphone 5S that's where the negatives stop.
As far as i'm concerned the iphone 6 plus is a new product that i enjoy using more than any previous iphone. Finally i enjoy streaming videos and movies on it, surfing internet is great, it is the first time i am happy with the battery life of an iphone, ever. I haven't game on iphone for a while and started gaming again on my iphone. It has the best camera of any iphone. Finally developers will make more polished apps for 6+, it has started already with some apps. For me Iphone is "an ipod, a phone and internet communicator" like Steve job said, i don't use it like a phone.

Finally think about it, do you need another iphone with a bit bigger screen, with almost the same experience as iphones before? If yes go with the 6.

Do you need a new product and you need to change a bit of your habits, like one hand use sometimes? Go with the Iphone 6 plus

Sorry for the long post, english is not my first language and everything takes me longer to explain :)
