So your service would include plating both the watch and the milanese band?
How will the plating hold up on the band and will it affect the paper-like texture of the band?
just wondering the coating is not actual gold right?
I was just sent an article saying that someone else has already plated an apple watch, but they are only at about 5 microns. today I plated it with about 35 microns. Gold plating does wear off though, I'm working on a retouching service where we will relate a watch for less than that the retail price because all the prep layers are already there. I'm think $149 for a replate.
What do you guys think?

the coating is real gold. Its 24 karat.
The gold itself is probably worth about $6 as its an extremely thin plating, but the labor involved is where the costs lie.
You could make some serious $$$ doing that for other people I think. I believe some people would pay a couple hundred to have it done and look that good. I don't know how many hours labor it took but there is money to be made there. I would consider doing it to my SS milanese.
Except the moment he sets up shop, the Apple police will swoop down. They won't like an unauthorized 3rd party cutting into their action.
Hey guys, I'm convinced. I'm going to do this. I just talked to my coowners and we can do 1000+ day. I'm putting together a squarespace page right now.
$399 seems like a good price. Its worth it for us, but not outrageous. I would totally do it if I didn't already own the shop
