I am calling my local apple store when they open at 10 to see if they have a 6 in space grey 64 gb, it says online that they dont for at&t but they might say differently because it says yes for verizon and that one would work as it si factory unlocked I believe. Im not far from the mall so I would just leave work and come back if they have it. The 6 plus is just too big for me too be comfortable with for two years, although I love it I would rather have something more usable for my lifestyle and that I am more comfortable with.

My exact thoughts.... :)

Glad I am not alone, haha it is a pain to talk on in the car and use at the gym, or lying in bed. I am worried they will not get a space grey 64 before my return window is up though :/

You're not alone my friend, lol. I think you'll be able to find one in time. You still have like 11 more days or so. From what I've seen they're a lot easier to get than the plus. I think Apple Stores get shipments daily too. So we have a good chance :)

I ordered the 6-Plus from verizon.com and got it on launch day. It looks awesome, but living in NYC, with 2 kids always around and always being on the subway...I need something easier for one hand.

So...how do I do this?

Can I just got to the Apple Store, pay full price for a new 6 and then sell the 6-plus on Ebay or Craigslist? Will this cause me any issues?

I'd rather not exchange it at Verizon for 2 reasons:

1) I'd have to wait for a 6 (I can certainly find one at an apple store in Manhattan)
2) With the 6-plus in short supply it must have some value.

Thanks in advance.

I'm just going to go to a Apple Store that has it in stock and exchange mine for a 6 and get the difference back.
However if you want to sell it,make a profit and buy a out of contract 64gb 6 for 749.00 than you may do that as well.

I returned my 6 Plus for the 6 for the exact same reason. I could not be happier. The size of the 4.7 inch display is perfect. It definitely feels like a phone and not a tablet. Obviously this is my opinion and to each his own..but that's my story.

Correction, it's perfect for you.

Exchanged my Plus for a 6 tonight. Just needed more one handed ease of use. And I am an active runner so in the end my love of the big screen just could not compete with my specific use case. Much happier with the 6. It is larger than my 5S so that's good.

That's good to hear. I'm on my way to the Apple Store now to do the same.

Well I succes changed my 6 plus for a 6 which I am now typing this from, much happier with this device for me and my lifestyle/usage! I "settled" for the silver since I didn't want to risk waiting around for a grey, but now that I am holding this one in my hands I actually think that the white front looks just as good as the black front in my opinion, I am perfectly content with the change in color although I had an idea before I switched because I have had both in the past.

I got my 128gb space grey iPhone 6 plus on launch day from the Apple Store. Now I'll admit the 6 plus is not as big or as bulky as I thought it would have been. It's lighter and thinner than I would have ever expected, but after having it for 5 days it seem a little too big for MY lifestyle. It's hard for me to text with one hand and it's cumbersome at the gym as well as work. I guess just overall day to day usage it's a little big for me to carry around.

I can appreciate the the screen real estate specially when watching movies. I had a chance to hold and play with my friends iPhone 6 and it just felt more comfortable and easy to manipulate. After work today I'll be exchanging my iPhone 6 plus for a 6.

I was just wondering has ayone els thought about downsizing their 6 plus?

I am in the exact same boat! After going to apple store and checking out the 6 it felt great in my hands, I immediately exchanged it. Now I regret it! and I have to wait 3-4 weeks to get my plus back. :(

lol , its such a hassle at times you want it to be big but at other times you want it to be small , i have a 6 but i kinda want a plus but i feel that it would just fall out of my gym shorts since its soo big , but the main thing for me is 16gb iPhone 6 plus vs 64 gb iPhone 6 ; still can't decide 10 days to go

I think you should go with more GB vs screen size in your case. 16GB is Nothing, my 5S was always out of memory. It's annoying.

Just do a search, there are others doing the same for different reasons, such as the bending issue.

"I am returning this."

"Why is that."

"Someone on the internet said I might bend it."

 Yea. I'm sure that will be happening. A lot.

i understand , plus my iPhone 6 64gb already has like 20gb used since i downloaded games i had to delete when i had my 16gb iPhone 5 , so i would have to delete those again

I think I'm going to exchange my 6 plus for a 6. Anyone els?

Don't exchange, sell it for over $1000.. It's what i did, now all you need is to piggyback another upgrade line and grab a free 6 with a measly trade in of a 4 you can snatch for $30-$40... You'll profit hundreds of dollars

My friend has a 128 6+.. today he bought a 16gb iPhone 6.... Just to text while driving.... #no joke

Suvks because I'm thinking about it also I had said forever I wanted biggest screen possible. I still do but maybe it's the dimensions / thinness of the phone that makes it a bit uncomfortable to me. I do not like having a case on my phones and while I am 6"1 (with not very large hands just normal) it does feel uncomfortable to hold. I plan getting apple care in this model if I do keeo it but I have to see how the 4.7 feels

Yeah I can vouch for that. I currently have the 6 plus and I am debating exchanging it, (which is why I'm reading this thread) because it's so big and constantly shows out of my gym shorts. Been very careful not to let it fall out but it's definitely noticeable seeing a huge bulk in my athletic shorts. I've had it for 5 days already and still can't decide which 6 to get and my sister has the 6 and as I said I have the plus..

Also a runner who has used an iPhone with my runs. I look forward to the watch so I am able to run without my phone yet have it all sync

So i am looking to do this, return my iphone 6 plus for a normal iphone 6, I ordered online as well. The online website says you cannot return phones bought online in store so how are you guys doing it? And how do they refund the difference? Thanks!
