I returned mine. I would advise you to do the same. I don't regret going to a 6 one bit.

functionality >

And for some the functionality is greater with the plus. It is nice to have options.

Being able to actually use your hand is the best functionality their is. I returned two so I knew full well what the pros and more important cons with the 6 Plus are as evident in my own thread about returning said iPhones.

Can't say I disagree that the use of your hands is great functionality.

For you I'm assume the plus wasn't for you. That is great and hope the 6 fits. For me I love the larger size phones and am so happy I can get an iPhone in that size. We both have different needs and wants and there are different phones now to fit that better.

I love my 6 Plus. And after judging from my brothers iPhone 6 battery life, I am very happy I went with the Plus.

I returned my space grey 6 Plus (via the online store) and picked up a silver 6 yesterday. I had the Plus since day one and I've been really torn on what to do. In the end this was my conclusion: the 6 Plus is awesome and for people who watch videos, play games, and want a bigger screen it's a no-brainer. I bought into this (along with the 401ppi screen and the OIS) but I soon realised that I wasn't that guy and I hardly ever use my iPhone for games, videos, or browsing. I'm a web developer and almost all day I'm sat at an iMac with an iPad next to me. The extra screen size of the Plus didn't seem that useful when I had these other devices close to me. Add that to the fact that I really didn't like getting the Plus out of my pocket (and the general extra bulk) and the regular 6 made more sense. My general use of an iPhone is messaging, calls, Twitter, and podcasts; the 6 fits the bill perfectly. I've had it for almost 24 hours now and I'm 100% convinced that it's the right iPhone for me. That said, I have nothing negative to say about the Plus; it's big and beautiful and I can totally see why people love them.

I think I'm going to exchange my 6 plus for a 6. Anyone els?

I had a 128gb 6+ delivered to me on release day. Out of contract, and bought it for $950+ tax. I loved the screen - most beautiful thing ever (even better than the iPad Air i think). I used it as my main carry device over the weekend and for two days at work. I did everything I would normally do with the phone - I took it on a long run, brought it out in jeans to dinner with friends, took pictures with it, used it as my gps in the car, and overall just did all the things you normally do with a smartphone. I'm not really into watching movies, playing games, or watching videos on my phone - typically do that at home on my 27" lcd or on the Apple TV connected to a big flat screen.

I absolutely loved the screen. Showing photos to people, and browsing the web was killer. Battery seemed to last forever too. FaceTime calls were great - didn't feel compelled to take out my iPad. Typing was a dream with how big the kb was. But the real downside for me was how cumbersome it was to just use the device casually. I had to consciously think about taking the device out of my pocket. You know those times when you're in a group of people, and want to pull out your phone discreetly to check something and put it away before anyone notices? Couldn't do it, so I just left the phone in my pocket. I couldn't use it to quickly pull up directions to a restaurant, or fire off a quick text message. I noticed going to work that I typically pull my phone out and use it while walking from the parking garage to the office - and I never thought about how I usually do this one-handed because I have to carry my bag, and concentrate on not getting hit by a car while walking. I couldn't do this comfortably or efficiently with the 6+. Using the 6+ was amazing, but required effort. If my phone use was relegated to times when I was sitting down and had both hands free, I'd take the 6+ any day. But yesterday, I picked up a 6, and the device just felt way more natural. I could use it just the way I used all the previous iPhones before it. I'll miss the giant beautiful screen, but the 6 just fit my lifestyle better.

nice to see the new and newer model of iPhone in very short time. are these model compatible for playing all types of game?

Also a runner who has used an iPhone with my runs. I look forward to the watch so I am able to run without my phone yet have it all sync

If you are going to use the Health app on the phone you'll need run with both the phone and the watch. For what you want to do it sounds like you'd be better off with a FitBit or something like that.
