...but I returned your 6.7” behemoth back to the Apple Store because you were just too damn big and heavy with a case on.

On that rainy day after I returned that oversized beast I walked out of the Apple Store $2300 CAD poorer but with a smile on my face no surgeon could cure and with a song in my heart. I picked the iPhone 12 Pro 512GB Silver With APpleCare+ and I couldn’t be happier.

👌

Yeah but you’re gonna miss that screw. And battery!

I have the 12 pro Max and......ITS NOT HEAVY!!

you weight complainers must be extremely skinny and have an office job where you don’t regularly lift or move heavy things. A bottle of water weighs more than the iPhone, a cup of joe probably does as well. Do you complain about those items? Sure they are consumables, but come on. What else do you carry that’s heavier than the iPhone? A purse, shoulder bag... the iPhone is not heavy. WOW!

You don't hold a water bottle at a certain angle for hours a day, over and over for different tasks, and move your finger, thumb, hand and wrist placement up and down the bottle with it's weight.

One handed use is too slow. You need two hands to properly compose a photo, to text quickly, etc. I can see where a big phone will be difficult one handed if you have tiny hands... lol
If you can use the nearly 7” iPhone one-handed you must have huge pickle fingers.

Seriously. Everyone saying how massive and heavy it is. It’s not either of those!

And I did the opposite, and I couldn’t be happier 👍

Well pedantically if it's heavy it must be massive, and if it's massive it must be heavy (unless you are in a weak gravitational field) ;).

No phone's weight has ever bothered me (maybe because I remember how much they weighed in the early '90s?). But the 12 Pro Max is the same width as the 8 Plus and 2mm taller, and it's just a couple of grammes more massive than the 11 Pro Max, so I'll agree that it's not very different from earlier big Apple phones. However I found that width made the 8 Plus rather unpleasant to hold, never mind use, so it certainly isn't a candidate for me.

So which one did you go for?

This is one crazy convo lol. Bottom line is if you want the best, get the PM. Can’t beat the screen, battery, etc. I have the regular pro and not impressed!! This battery sucks, screen is small, feels honestly like an iPhone 11 to me 😅

We’ve all been in that position of 4 new iPhones to choose from and personally I went for the standard 12. The 12 mini is too small, the 12 Max too big and the 12 Pro just wasn’t enough better for me over the 12. That’s the beauty of choice though, as they are all the best phone if it’s the one you have bought.

Besides the main sensor being significantly bigger on 12 Pro Max vs. 12 Pro, i read somewhere that the 12 PM‘s telephoto lens has better OIS. The OIS on 12 PM telephoto can adjust 5000 times / sec...matching the stabilization of the main sensor on the iPhone 12s. The OIS on the telephoto of 12 Pro can adjust “only” 1000 times / sec.

Thus, 12 PM telephoto may have slower f-stop than 12 P, Pro Max goes one better with zoom lens stabilization.
