Not to go on a thread tangent, but what IEMs are those (and is that a double helix cable?) Is that a Astell & Kern music player? Sweet audio gear

Seriously! I’m a woman and I have the 12 Pro Max, in a case, and it is nowhere near as “heavy” as these people are complaining it to be and I use my phone A LOT. I am so baffled on how many people are really complaining about it. Maybe eat more protein and take your vitamins lol lift some weights!! It’s REALLY not all that heavy. It’s about as “heavy” as a phone should be. But, to each their own. I will never go down a size. The bigger, the better. Which is amazing that Apple allows its consumers to make a choice! My 12 Pro Max is the perfect weight and the perfect phone for me! Definitely not heavy.

I couldn’t agree with you more. Im also a woman with skinny fingers and small hands, and I’m using a glass screen protector as well as a case and it don’t feel any heavier or bigger than my XS Max, and I use my phone for several hours every day. I don’t have any issues using it in the bed at night. Apple gave us 4 choices this year so there should be no complaints on the weight of these devices.

Girls cannot comment on size as they have a purse. I know one women one day tried to convince me she knew what razor burn was because she shaves her legs which is not the same as some of us clean cut gentlemen shave every day. I joke.

I paid $249 + tax CAD for A/C+ which is quite a lot but only because I plan on keeping my phone for two years.

I’m a woman who can complain because even though I have purses at home, I don’t carry one when out and about. It’s less of a target for someone to snatch my purse. Also I hate carrying a lot of stuff with me. I have a small Fanny pack that’s big enough to hold my credit/debit cards, ID, warehouse club cards, cash and coins and a phone the size of aSE 2020 which I also have but don’t carry with me. I carry my phone in my front pocket with no issues.

My Anker power bank is heavier than my 12 Pro Max. I sometimes carry it in my back pocket or one of the pockets in my coat (when it’s cold or raining outside).

I have AppleCare theft and loss and I chose the monthly payment option as I won’t be able to put out so much in one to for the full cost.

I did the same thing as well and cancelled the insurance I had through Verizon. I didn’t feel like paying up front for the phone, because I may upgrade next year again as well. I don’t mind paying monthly for AppleCare+ as it’s charged to my Apple Card’s which I transfer $25 to every pay period until I reach the amount for a year of AppleCare+ and 2TB iCloud storage subscription.

If I was buying a new gen I'd go for the Mini or Regular. The cost and size of the Max Pro isn't worth it IMO. The experience is just as good on the Mini and Regular 12 once your eyes adjust to the size. I went from 6 Plus to SE and got by fine back in the day! It's not like you're gaining much... I have a Note 20 Ultra 5G, but at least I'm getting the pen functionality for the size of the thing differentiating it from smaller models... I mean, if you care that much about the camera maybe buy a Mini or Regular 12 plus a Canon EOS for £300 or so! Lol

Thanks! It's my personal guilty pleasure portable music listening setup. Those are the Campfire Audio Andromeda CK (not surprisingly named "Pacific Blue" color) Andromeda CK – Pacific Blue – Campfire Audio
The cables are just braided fancily but is made of pure silver wire strands. Yeah it's the Astell & Kern AK SP2000 Copper music player

Why is it funny that it’s guys complaining?

Because women, short women to be specific, are handling massive phones and love them. Guys are naturally larger, stronger etc.. I just find it amusing..

I love my beast and it’s larger camera lenses. No way it’s going back

I have an iPad beast as well for productivity. If anything I wonder if I would be better off with a M1 Air in combo with my lovely little 12 PM.

Oh my gosh I got my M1 Air delivered in Friday. I’m in love!!
