if you donate the computer, it will end up in some jackasses house or the president of the company. Sell the computer, get the cash, and then donate that.

Or actually go to someone who for whatever reason can't afford one. Some people are so bloody mean sometimes! they don't seem to realise that there are good people in this world who may just not have £500 lying around to spend on a computer even if they really need one! Please at least admire his generosity and not criticise him so. After all, the world needs more people like that.

Ok, this Irish girl's humanity rant is officially over. Sorry if I've offended anyone, but I know what it's like to really NEED something and not have it though circumstances may be different. I'd write someone's essays for school for a year just to have a decent computer that doesn't crash EVERY time I try to start my screen reader. And I've tried asking my state organisation for help to get a macbook, I wouldn't even care what model it was as long as it had Zoom and a screen reader! so I know what it's like. Anyway, Rant REALLY over now!

I didn't dig the thread up but like the idea. I'll take this over the same "I bought a MacBook Pro" threads.
