I think people going from the 6+ to the 6 aren't giving the plus a legitimate chance. They automatically think "wow its huge" but if u use it for a few days, you get used to it and the 6 looks like a 4S to you.

I had the Plus for a week. Too big. Didn't fit in my car holder, couldn't use it one handed, which is a deal breaker.

I'd like to add that the battery was great, even though the 6 is pretty much the same and the screen on the Plus was glorious.

I defo wasn't getting such a MASSIVE phone till I went instore and spent 5 mins surfing on it!

I knew I had to have one!! :D

That's what happened to me as well... definitely got used to the massive size pretty quick, still have a 4s and can't believe the difference.

I got rid of my + for the 6. The size was great when I would be at home chilling catching up on the forums. However, on the run/at work/any where I was mobile the 6plus showed its colors as a two handed device. If I could have the 6plus just at home, and the 6 for on the go I would do that. However that just isn't possible for me. Sold my 6plus and picked up a 6.

I just hope I can sell it for a reasonable amount of money before the 6+ return policy is up!

Does anyone actually ever hold their phone up to their head if they are on a call anymore? It seems like no one has mentioned how ridiculously big the 6+ looks when you hold it up to your head to talk on it. Of course using it for text or browsing etc. is probably a great experience while in the comforts of your own home or office, but take it with you and use it like a regular 'phone'.

I'm not saying the + is a bad phone in any way….I just think it's so darn big for everyday, real life use. I mean what if those pants you're wearing doesn't have big enough pockets? You're going to have to carry it? Or get a fanny pack for it …. or leave it behind

It took me about a minute to get use to mine, I was kinda shocked my innitial impressions were it wasn't as big and awkward as a phone that size could be.

My points exactly! Same here, I'm buzzing around all day and just like having something as pocket fitting as the regular 6.

hahaha...I think you hit the nail on the head. I was trying to justify that it doesn't look to big when making a call and my girl just basically said...Your Nutttttttttts! She said it looks pretty ridiculous while on a call, which now a week or two later I agree on.

However it's a fantastic two handed device for web searching, emailing, and gaming and all that. But as a phone, I'll take the 6 all day long, especially since the volume is much louder on my 6 anyway.

Depends on who you are I guess. But it don't seem big at all to me when talking on the phone. Oddly enough I spend more time using my phone with hands free like I did previously with the 5/5s

And what we're folks holding up to their head years ago to talk at home? Those wireless phones are bigger than the Plus easily.

No problem with fitting in a pocket, not even with slim jeans. :)

And my eyes are thanking me. Coming from larger screen android smartphones than the 6, no way could I have kept that one.

Yeah, the 6+ does feel embarrassing to hold up to your head to make a phone call. If I have to talk, I'll usually enable speakerphone if I am in a public space. I've also gotten into a habit of using speakerphone whenever I can to limit my SAR exposure. Been doing that since the days of even the 3.5" iPhones...

I also realized that making calls is < 20% of what I do on my 6+ so it's very much worth that compromise to excel at the other 80% of the tasks.

It's always refreshing to hear someone care about SAR exposure on these forums! I always use my headset, it feels weird to hold the phone to my head. I also strap on an EMF blocker like this one to the back of my case: http://www.qlinkproducts.com/Scripts/prodView.asp?idProduct=143

Well, once you use something, you always get use to it.

I don't own one, but in my opinion it does look a bit silly when people use it to make a call.

Like many things in life, this is just another matter of personal preference. I don't doubt that the 6+ would be fine to use if I just gave it a few weeks. But, I like my 6 just fine the way it is. It's a nice upgrade from the screen on the 5S and I like how I can, for the most part, still use it with one hand.

My hands are just under 10 inches long, so it's always been the Plus, which I haven't gotten yet... Using my phone less and less so I am struggling to justify continuing paying enormous sums and stick with my trusty 4S?. Or perhaps a 10 dollar gas station phone will do?

What are you using in lieu of your phone? An iPad?

When I first got my phablet in 2012, it drew a lot of attention and the whole phablet concept was laughed at by many Apple fanboys. Now that device is still going strong, no one is surprised by the size, and Apple's iPhone 6/6+ sell like hotcakes.

Times change, and many were "so wrong" about phablets in general.

I used my 6+ for over a month and decided it was too big for an everyday phone. Loved the screen size however it was too top heavy and unwieldy for me for everyday use. Switched to a 6.

Just received it today and after few hours saw my dads iPhone 4 and my eyes were shocked :O this device is amazing. I never liked big phones and always made fun of people with note but this phone is something else.

Its weird, I thought I would think it was too big but I had been envying the screen size on the Note for a while so I just took a jump. The 14 day return policy was great for that, if I hated it, I could have gone back. But I love it and wouldn't swap it for anything smaller (or maybe bigger, lets see how it goes). Plus the battery life is amazingggg!

The increased battery and in turn battery life, massive and crisp 1080p screen (if you get a good panel, subject to the good ole screen lottery of course I'm sure) that Displaymate has been raving about as the best mobile screen within its respective screen tech (IPS), and optical image stabilization are significant upgrades in my experience.

I can take dark shots and just a lot more shots period without mr. blurrycam popping his head out and retaining sharpness.

Sure the SoC is the same, but I'm beginning to feel like the 6 was actually 'nerfed' a bit too much.
