I may have screwed up the punctuation in my post (knowingly because i dont care about punctuation on this forum),
<snip>
That was really my gripe... im just tired of hearing people not add the ed or the s on the end of their words.

You don't care about punctuation but you expect others to respect your views on spelling. :rolleyes: Your punctuation (or lack thereof) probably bugs just as many people as the OP's spelling did.

No, i dont care if they respect it. I was pointing it out because i felt like it.

Ok i'll say this again for those of you who were to thick to hear it the first time. I was correcting his spelling, not his punctuation. So i was right. If i was correcting his spelling and punctuation then you would be right in correcting my punctuation as i was the corrector. The point is he threw up on his computer and i dont like reading a post from someone who spells repair as repare and "i yack on my ibook" means that he yacks on it on a regular basis. I "yacked" on my ibook means he did it one time. So i guess if we dont correct this then it means he yacks on his ibook quite frequently, so hey thats nice. Can we see pictures? :D

When 'I' is used standalone as a first person singular pronoun it is always capitalized.

Yes i know that. :) I had to write a 100 page paper in college, that i got an A on, so i think i know how to write. I write the way i do on here because its a forum and i dont care. ;)

Yaayy! (btw, it should be "too thick") I will say, when I first read the thread title I expected a video of him yacking. Due to the missing -ed. A little disappointed, really.

Nope. Any spelling/grammar/punctuation/language corrections you type in a forum must be completely error-free. Otherwise you are wide open for counter-attacks without remorse. Period. Doesn't matter if your corrections were, uh....correct, your mistakes are ready for bashing!

This is the internet forum law.

How the hell did we get from yacking to grammar :D

So you shouldn't care how others write either. :)

Actually he yacks on his computer all the time. Pay attention, the next thing we'll be talking about is that he may need to see a doctor about that.

I must say I have yacked many times in my existance on this planet, but never on anyones iBook

Please get over it. Not everyone is as excellent an English speaker as you. :rolleyes:

Like i said before, a third grader knows the difference. Ok so if the OP is a 2nd grader, i will let it go.

Ergo, you have no business correcting other people's spelling, grammar or punctuation.

Ok at least that time you were telling the truth.

Except that the newbie has been around a lot longer than he has. Can we please just drop this?
