You take that back. The 12" powerbook is one of the best laptops ever made.

Keys on the edge? What the heck are you talking about? What difference does it make?

Completely agree with this statement. I had one for years, loved it.

Me too. Great size. Great design. Miss my old PB.

Well the PB 12" was a great computer in such a small package, but the keys right on the edge is a no no for me, IMO, i would be afraid that they can be plucked out.

I had a BlackBook, I thought the laptop was the sexiest looking laptop ever made, better then my MBP in looks, but it had serious technical issues, and the graphics card sucked majjjjjoooorrrrr battoonies.

I would say the G4 iBook is better than the MacBook. I got a MacBook to replace my G4 iBook and ended up selling the iBook. I really wish I had not done that, I liked the size of the iBook wayyy better and the battery lasted so much longer for me in the iBook. I got an average of 5 hours on my iBook, on a bad day it was about 4.5 hours and on a good day it was 6 hours. My Macbook struggles to get 3 hours . . . and lately its only getting about 2.5 hours.

I really wished I kept that iBook, I loved that laptop, wish I could get it back. I have seriously thought about trading my Macbook for either an iBook or a PowerBook 12".

I had a 1.42 iBook for a brief period of time and i prefer the iBook's design to the MB. I prefer the keyboard on the iBook and to me it just looked better as well. I am not that keen on the MB's looks.

Although I love the built-in camera, the magnetic power cord and the MB's thinness, I am holding on to my 12" iBook for dear life. I love its compact size -- it's amazing how much smaller it feels than the MacBook. My iBook works perfectly and has great battery life, and I have no intentions of getting rid of it any time soon.
