Apple is experiencing a widespread outage today, with a wide range of the company's services and apps down or experiencing issues currently.

Affected services and apps include the App Store, iCloud, Siri, iMessage, Apple Maps, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Apple Fitness+, Apple TV+, Find My, FaceTime, Notes, Stocks, and many others, according to complaints across Twitter and other online platforms. Apple's developer website is also inaccessible due to server issues.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports that some of Apple's internal systems are also down:

Apple's system status page has not been updated to reflect the issues yet. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.

Seems back up now - in the UK

The status page wasn't even loading earlier. The TestFlight app won’t load.

Is there a way to monitor Apple's System status in real time? e.g. are there apps available that will send notifications on outages? I'd like to use one if possible without having to constantly check the site.

Apple Music is totally f'd right now. These frequent outages make me want to move away from iCloud Drive.
I don't have anything of value in the cloud, well I will have backups but I also keep a local backup as well. Same for music and movies, I have streaming services but the movies and music I love I buy and own so I am not dependant on any streaming service being up or for some reason dropping an artist. I use Amazon music, it has been pretty consistent but all the big guys get hit with something at some point.

Shortly before 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time, Apple updated its System Status page to reflect ongoing issues with several of its services.

Ummm… surprised no one mentioned the possibility that this may be a cyber attack by a foreign bully? According to down detector, several other systems are facing issues like AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, AWS, PayPal, Google and Google Maps, Spotify.. ?

I’m trying to activate an iPhone 13 mini, to no avail…seems like the activation servers are also down?

As noted in this site, the Apple system status site is pretty much useless. It takes them 10 to 15mn to update it and by that time everything is back on. You want to monitor MacRumors for downtimes!
