It doesn't bore me because it looks like a person will be able to buy an iPad/iPhone and enter credentials and have all Apps/Music installed without USB to a computer!
I have 16GB on my iPhone and my iPad. I made a huge mistake thinking that it would be enough space for me. I have around 50GB of music on my computer. I can't sync most of my music to my devices. To a person like me, iCloud is the solution to everything. I can't wait to get this, I don't even care how much it costs. I wanna be able to finally access all of my music on all my devices.
Cloud streaming could be problematic for people stuck with 2GB data plans...
Is it just me or does this whole music-in-the-cloud thing seem a bit boring? I mean, I have my music on my phone and my iPad and my computer. Is it really that exciting that I can access it from the cloud? I have plenty of storage space on my devices already. How many songs could one possibly have that they needed to store them in the "cloud".
i dont think anything apple will announce will make us happy
face it they bring out incremental improvements not crazy updates

copy and paste was a big deal at one of these events.

14GB of legit music (not counting videos) and a 16GB iPhone. That leaves 2GB for pictures, video I take and apps. Not happening. I selectively sync and would love the cloud.
Personally I like the idea. It will make it easier with multiple computers. I am VERY interested in the amount of storage available as videos take up a LOT of space on my HD. I would like to put them all in the "cloud" so I have room to put windows back on my MBP.
Hopefully it lives up to my expectations.![]()

The big question is how is it going to be implemented. And there are potentially huge drawbacks to storage in the cloud as well.
1. What happens when I'm on an airplane, in a tunnel, or in the middle of the fracking desert and don't have a signal? My phone has become a very expensive paperweight.
2. Data charges. With unlimited data seemingly going the way of the dodo bird, how much is it going to cost in data charges to have our media (music, movies, & apps) in the cloud and use them?
And to those complaining the 16gb is not enough memory for their music. Seriously, do you really listen to that much music? That has to be days and days worth of music.

Wait, do you listen to all 50GB of music regularly?
For me, the iCloud music library feature doesn't seem appealing.
I still have my 8GB iPhone 3G from '08 and i still have about 1.5GBs free. I have all the music i listen to frequently, all the apps i use frequently, subscribed to podcasts and iTunes U, all my photos, and i'll sync in a movie if i plan on watching one. But 8GB is ideal for me. I'll be upgrading to the iPhone 5, so 16GB is going to be an overkill for me, although i can't wait.
But i want to wait for 14 more hours before i make a decision.![]()
