With Steve Jobs paying so much attention asthetics, no way would he have allowed the iPhone X to have that huge camera system covering the top part and ruining the looks of the iPhone X.

Most of Jobs his patents were about the looks and feels of his products, so yeah ....

I think I wil wait for the 2nd generation where they hopefully will make it look better.

I can't stand the 'if Jobs were here' discussions. We have no idea what he would have done.

And on a related note, the notch, I really don't see the hate. It makes the most out of the screen real estate, and makes the front of the phone unique looking, where as LG/Samsung are all going for the full screen look, at least you know the X when you see it.

stop bitching... the notch isnt even bad at all. I actually like it. they went about it the right way with separating the carrier and battery and wifi symbols. also separates the notification center and control center... i hope they keep the notch going forward and anyone who hates is can just buy the iPhone8/8+.

Hahahaha.

I'll bet you love the camera bump, too?

Whether the notch is viewed as aesthetically pleasing or ugly af, Steve Jobs would not have allowed for the notch to block a portion of the screen game button during the presentation. That's just a no-no!!!

Jobs was not a deity. He was a business owner and a capitalist. He just overlayed that with a philanthropic tone.

I think he'd have loved the X. Every new iPhone iteration gets Apple a little closer to something truly extraordinary. We've become greedy and entitled to the extent that we can look at something as gorgeous as the X and whine like spoilt brats that it's not what we wanted.

There's no way Steve would have been happy leaving 2017 the year of the 8/8+. And there's no way he'd have held off on the X for another year if it works as well as it seems to.

When Steve died I didn’t think Apple would change much. This is the year that I can say that without a doubt I was wrong. If he were alive today we definitely wouldn’t have seen a notch on the X or a talking poo emoji during the keynote. Steve knew how to keep those clowns in line.

So many people obviously know what Steve Jobs would've done ... it's a wonder we don't have more Steve Jobs' in the world.

Get to it, you Steve Jobs channelers!

He was actually anal about the small things such as this. Software and hardware design, he was damn near OCD at judging it.

Nobody here knows Steve Jobs personally therefore you guys have absolutely no idea what he would’ve thought about the iPhone X. His thoughts on design was always changing, and he went back on things he declared when the market shifted. Stop praising him as a God. He gave a pass on numerous ‘bad’ design choices as well. The iMac G4 and iBook Clamshell were perfect examples of that.
