Oh hell no. Car and Driver did a few mock ups of a Dodge Challenger convertible. If Dodge does this, I will buy this car. I will never drive it. It will sit in my garage and be rubbed with a diaper.

Front end looks like an irritable robot from Futurama, and the chassis look like it was based on an oversized cereal packet, but I've no doubt if they made it it would sell... [in America]. You want something stylish to ease the middle aged years away go for a 427.
As of now, Dodge doesn't plan to produce a Challenger convertible. So I recommend waiting for the Camaro convertible.![]()
Dodge did produce a concept( I believe it was for SEMA) of a convert Challenger. But, they stated they do not plan to produce it and the concept was sent off to the crusher.
The Challenger is already selling in the US. They just haven't made a convertible yet. If they do, it's mine.

The car you posted is nice, but not for me.
You American you.
I hafta say, Lee, that Challenger convertible is a sweet looking ride.
I had always been a fan of Chevy muscle cars over the Mopars, but the new Challengers have really impressed me; more so than the new Camaros.
I thought you hated cars, Lee?
I'll take a Challenger, Camaro and Mustang. kthnxbai.
Oh- I love cars, just not owning them in the city. I wasn't kidding in my OP- the car would barely be driven, and only in the summer. It would be stored in winter.
Ahhh gotcha.
You should get one. Put the top down and get blown![]()

So you've now got a mobile phone (you have still got it haven't you?) and you want a car!!
You've changed man!!!
Quit encouraging him![]()

Oh- are you kidding? The boys will come running. One pass down Halsted St, and I wouldn't even have to set foot in a bar.![]()
Lee, I think you'd look awesome in that car. When it comes out, buy it!
The only way I'd buy a current model Camaro is if it were convertible. Otherwise, it has to be vintage.
The challenger is nice but I prefer the Camaro myself. First order of business is a motorcycle (after the house).
I like teasing Lee![]()
That would be a site too see.
Make it happen![]()

Now you're talking! and if you mix vintage style with that motorcycle dream then you can't go wrong with one of these![]()
I've never ridden a motorcycle nor do I really have the urge to do so, but that's a friggin good looking bike right there!

That's exactly it, I want a Triumph Bonneville real bad but as long as I am not in a place with a garage I refuse to buy one. If I were in CA maybe it'd be ok covered, but not where I am now.
Sorry to hijack your thread Lee - that Challenger looks better as a tin top I reckon.
No car looks better with a tin top. That's just the way it is.![]()
