Oh, the things I would do for a Dodge Challenger. Mine would be hard top and the new Plum Crazy Purple. Has to have a Hemi. It would be blasphemy to buy 6 cylinder.

Some of the old challengers came with a decent slant 6 cylinder for economy it wasn't a bad engine either. I still wouldn't mind one coming back. As far as I know it was the only engine of it's kind.

:(

That was our Pontiac G8. Hope you Aussies enjoy the left over parts from Pontiac's demise. :p

As a famous man said, we take something and make it better

My family have got this at the moment:

Please do, and give me the link. :)

Hmm... I don't really need a Hemi though.

Why not the Charger? The Challenger really can't handle well at all.

The Charger is nice, but it's a four door! :)

You'd look good in either the dodge or the chevy mate. Tho I think i like the look of the chevy better. The dodge just looks slightly odd to me.

Even tho I'm not really a fan of american muscle cars. All that power and no finesse. :D *runs and hides from lee*

I like the way the Challenger looks but that thing is huuuuuge! Very overweight and handles badly even comparing to Camaro/Mustang which were never famous for their handling in the first place. Just read any comparos in car magazines. Out of the trio I would probably look at Mustang first, Camaro second, Challenger last.

Carmelo Anthony has a convertible Challenger, custom made of course. This is always an option for the financially unencumbered, Lee. :D

Unfortunately, I am somewhat financially encumbered at the moment.

I love the Dodge more, but if they never make the convertible, I'll have no choice but the Camaro.

But that's the point! :)

Agreed. Now if they would just make one! But I do like the Camaro too.

i have a 2008 srt8 challenger so im biased, but the comaro ss is a good car, i just dont really like it, challenger is for the real men, comaros are for teh ladiez

Haha.

Good one. Get back to be when the Challenger moves in the modern age with design. That is my main gripe about the Challenger. It is pretty much a carbon copy from the 1970's model it is based off of. Also, tell me when it goes on a diet. While Camaro isn't light itself, it isn't 4100 lb. heavy. :p

Now the Camaro is the most modern of the retro muscle cars. It's 1969 design is obvious, but it is a modern design. The Mustang straddles the middle and Chrysler was lazy and just took the 1970's model and made it a bit bigger. :p

Plus, you can't beat those HID headlights you get with the RS package.

**Realizes styling is subjective. But, it is fun to argue about it anyway. :p**

Front end looks like an irritable robot from Futurama, and the chassis look like it was based on an oversized cereal packet, but I've no doubt if they made it it would sell... [in America]. You want something stylish to ease the middle aged years away go for a 427.

You know the vast majority of these were actually 429 Police Intercepter motors. Only a very small number of the S/Cs had the 427 side oiler engine. The "real' 427S are rare and quite expensive when they come up or sale. I like the FIA model of the 289 car best. Those FIA Cobras are sweet!

Now you're talking! and if you mix vintage style with that motorcycle dream then you can't go wrong with one of these ;)

Mmmmm. I've been waiting to get Bonneville T100. I just need to find the right sidecar for it. Now if I could find a well cared for BSA...

I've just realised that I know about 3 people with Caterham roadsters. They're cheap and a whole bucket of fun apparently.

Only if I can get it in yellow and with enough engine power to evade weather balloons.

Oh hell no. Car and Driver did a few mock ups of a Dodge Challenger convertible. If Dodge does this, I will buy this car. I will never drive it. It will sit in my garage and be rubbed with a diaper. :)

Hopefully, an unused diaper...

Sorry for this, it's just that your statement just triggered a really bad (though disturbingly humorous) image in my head.
