I'd most likely be using a black V3 RAZR, which is what I was using when I got my 1st Gen iPhone. I'd probably pick up an iPod touch though to go with it, and if that weren't a possibility, I would say probably just some "meh" smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard and A2DP support.
