What about the band scratching the watch itself? Apparently, both buckle and links could cause that effect.

Love it so far... Milanese loop was always my favorite band, but after moving to the Ultra I had to get rid of it because the color difference was bothering me with the stainless steel.... Now with this new titanium version it looks great, it's super light and feels really comfortable even sleeping with it.. No issues with hair pulling or scratching macbook so far.
I got mine on launch day. Originally I was going to try it out and thought of returning it due to it's $$$, however, I ended up keeping it and I wear it 24/7.
In terms of scratching computers during use, I don't feel any impact with the Ti Milanese band. I can feel the metal ring on the Ocean band hitting the laptop when I am typing but not the Ti band.

Definitely the best looking of the new Black Ultra bands. It's versatile and light. As far as comfort...its comfortable, but not as comfortable in my opinion as the alpine, trail or ocean bands. Once you set up the clasp for the right size, it's easy to put on. It does however pull your hair (if you've got hair on your arms) when putting it on but I have not felt any hair pulling once ititss been clasped into place.

1. it‘s very comfortable. I am saying that as an ultra Trail loop user. Which I only wore because of its comfort (10/10) not because of its design (6/10).
The new milaniase band is way lighter than a link bracelete und very comfortable. 9/10 comfort.
It is also not as wide as the trail loop which make it look so classy, in contrast to the bulky case of the ultra. My biggest fear was that I couldn‘t close the clasp in the dark. But after one night that was no big deal anymore. 10/10 for the design.
2. the clasp does not touch the body of the MacBook. So no issues so far.

Just got mine today (ordered on launch day). Natural Ti to go with last year’s Ultra 2.

These things are taking forever to arrive. Kind of crazy. I wonder why they’re in such limited supply.
Mine showed up today as well. Very nice. Compliments the Ultra perfectly. I was never a huge fan of the previous Milanese bands, but this one is beefed up and definitely has a different feel to it. Maybe it's the matte finish? I have some other metal bands (original link band from 2015) and the ti Bandwerk band, this one is definitely more comfortable.
1. Titanium is very difficult to machine. This reduces yields.
2. Apple is using recycled titanium, which reduces yields even more.
3. Current demand is very likely outstripping supply by a wide margin.

This is hands down the best metallic Apple band that I’ve owned, and my second favorite for overall comfort+style after the original leather loop (2015).
I have not taken it off the watch since I’ve bought it lol! Can’t say that about any of my previous band purchases.

Good to hear! I’m excited for when mine gets here next month. Hoping it’ll be worth the price and wait.
Have you seen photos of it? It doesn't use a magnet like the previous versions, it latches in place. It can't move.
I am also interested, but I have a very large wrist circumference (9"). Does this band offer options to lengthen the band?

Oh I meant the flap portion of the lock, does it use a rubber gasket to prevent slippage like the original (which doesnt really hold it well and I have to tighten the band throughout the day) or does it have a physical portion that holds the latch in place?
When you lock down the flap, will the female portion of the lock slide (with some force) down the band? Thats what I meant by slippage.

I think you answered it. What I meant was when you close the flap portion, does it use a rubber piece to hold against the band (if you look on the original, the magnet has rubber feet that suppose to prevent it from slipping) does the new one use that same method?
What holds the female portion of the lock in place when the flap is closed?
