Yes, eventually got on to the store via the iPhone App at around 08:40 (BST) - email confirmation about 10 minutes after

£599 is a lot for a phone, but at least when the next one comes out I'll be able to shift this one for a decent amount.

We're in the opposite boat it seems. Every time I glance down at my iPhone 4, I admire how the screen just blends in with the front of the phone and how sleek the black looks. Not to mention my iPad is also black. Oh well, hopefully the white will be nice...

I've had an iPhone3G since Sept 2008. I was at the 2010 WWDC when the iPhone4 was released, and coveted the white the moment I saw it.

10 months later, when the white 4 went on sale, I decided to wait for June where I'd be at WWDC this year and see the new one (4s/5) unveiled.

Well, that didn't happen and Friday can't get here fast enough.

The phone looks beautiful in both colors, but I had to go with black again. It seems to me that it is hard to find a matching case for the white iPhone. The black also looks more professional in my eyes. The white phone looks like more of a fashion accessory. If I wasn't just starting my professional career and wasn't around co-workers and clients all day, I may have considered the white.

Seriously?.. Dude, grow a pair.
