No Apple Pay in the UK....yet

I was very lucky...had iPad, iPhone and MacBook all ready, and iPhone App Store was the first to go live. I then panicked as it asked for my Apple password, which is a complex password in 1password so I had to launch that, copy and paste in. Then, my CVV for my card. I've recently got a new card and I haven't memorised the code so another trip to 1password. As you can imagine, stress levels were running pretty high at this stage!

Still managed to complete by 8:02(UK) and get in the first delivery bracket. Must be more prepared next time!

I would have used Apple Pay but we don't have that option 😡

I turned off WiFi (was at work) and used 4G. Had my CC ready for the CVV and kept launching the App from 7:59.
It started to let me in, then would say 'we'll be back soon'. That happened a few times, then it was lightening fast.
Went to favourites, clicked buy now at the top, it asked for iTunes password, typed it in carefully, then my CVV, then got the 'Thank You'.
Checked email, and had the confirmation at 8:01am 😎

I used the app. I had the watch I wanted favorited as well. I did have to pay with my card instead of Apple Pay in order to allow the watch to ship to my work address.

Couldn't get in with Safari. Got in within a minute using the Apple Store App. Quickly searched for what I wanted and paid using Apple Pay. Had favorites stored, but didn't even use that feature. I had been practicing how to navigate the Apple Store App.

I had 2 macbook pros opened, one connected via TB->GB Ethernet and the other via Wifi... I tried on both (got onto the apple site on the wifi computer...)

Navigated through my favorites, selected the 42 MM Stainless w/ black sport band, ran through the checkout, entered my gift card, selected my saved payment and at 3:08 AM I received a processing email from Apple.

I check my order and it still says 4/24 - 5/8 so I guess I got lucky! 😉
