“it seems that if you hold the tablet with your hand covering its left-corner while in landscape and with the camera to the left, you’ll lose WiFi connectivity.

We kid you not.samsung, galaxy tab s5e

What’s amazing here is that this is probably the orientation the tablet will spend most of its time in, so we would expect it’s also how the thing was tested during the development stage. But alas, the problem still exists.”

Maybe you are but I'm happily smacking away at the keyboard on my trusty mid-2015 15" MBPr. With a very nice keyboard.

Yes, these were the best. Incredible how fast things went downhill from next year and onwards.

Of course my post was about criticising other's failures while have some major ones in our own backyard.

Can you elaborate on WHY it's stupid?

This is a mini tablet that folds and makes calls...

Wouldn't it be awesome if this DID work? I feel this is the truly relevant question.

I saw some concepts where you could take a tablet-like device, fold it around your wrist, and use it that way as well.

This is only the beginning. Someone is working towards it and WILL figure it out, even if it's 10 years from now.

From my perspective, we are living in an impossible future I could not have imagined (2015 seemed AMAZING in 1985).

When I saw this, and then the Huawei one, I really could not believe what I was seeing.

I'd LOVE this if it worked, regardless of who it came from.

Good and fair question. To me, it is stupid because I cannot see how this will not be a constant issue. Over time I just don't see these things being reliable and yes, perhaps in 10 yrs they may solve it but by then, I'm willing to bet this idea will be abandoned in favor of a better overall solution altogether.
